It gives me little hope for legalization in Illinois, I bet that is passed sometime in 2019 or 2020 and takes a good 5-7 years to implement. 8 more years and my kids will be old enough that I can move out of this state, I cannot wait for that day!
Don't forget in a little over 2 weeks its December 1st when the state is supposed to have the temp card in place, so really all of us should have a temp card within 2 -3 weeks, but its Illinois, they wont have that process ready till mid 2019!
2019. Democrats have a veto proof majority, the governor wants it nearly 1st thing, Madigan wants it. It's going to happen. It probably takes one year to get shops open from having a working medical system. Depending how it goes with the antis we should have recreational working by mid 2020.
The plan for provisional access is to be submitted by December 1st. That is all that we really know until the plan is submitted.
I suspect it will start quickly because it should be easy to do as far as online applications go plus they've basically done it before when the printers were down, but this is IL and we have a governor and Shah who have been openly hostile to the program. They are gone January 14th.
I would hope they realize they're lame ducks and let it happen but who knows. Seems delaying the sick from sin even a day is considered a win for them.
But why are they calling? Other than to know its been received, why slow everything down just because someone feels the state owes them answers. 90 days people, and if uts before that congrats
Well the state did charge my card instantly when they know they won't do anything for at least 60 days which is not standard business practice, it may even be an illegal business practice in the US. It would've been very easy to have the online account have some kind of recognition and updates. If they had anything like that people would not be calling. Any kind of update on any of the 3 websites would be nice.
And I don't buy that I should feel privileged that the state can charge me $100 to flag my vehicle registration and the prescription monitoring program because I was blessed with a chronic disease. Yes it's still illegal according to the feds and the state offers no protection.
I don't recall anything about the time it takes when I applied. There was an old outdated list of new conditions that Rauner refused from before someone sued and got PTSD allowed.
