I've heard a lot about the rdwc, can't you just build your own, I've seen a few videos on YouTube about! do u mind sharing the benefits of each, I don't mean hyjack yalls thread, I'm just looking for ppls opinions!

Yeah you could build ya own but it wouldn't be as good as a current culture system, plus I have a tendency to fuck shit up bad when I diy lol

lol that's one area where i usually do pretty well, thankfully, us poor ppl have to be good at diy, just to grow lol!

Whats quarter inch? I do a 19mm line from pump then 13mm to 6mm feed rings best setup I've used yet.

I’m stoned, I mean half inch which is 13 mm haha that sounds good and how long u have it feeding for or is it auto feed

just got 100% iso from sydney solvents. 1L for $18.95 not as good value but im going to be using like 10ml so im not too fussed

could have got 5L for $30

They sell it at bunnings, it's pretty dear there but if you dont want to wait they have it on the shelf

yes I have heard about keeping the Temps cool, or risk wrecking your entire crop!

Aquaponics would be the go if you wanted to do organic hydro

Aquaponics would be the go if you wanted to do organic hydro

I do like, the idea of aquaponics when using the live fish and stuff, there is some very interesting info on that if you search it! but upfront cost to get going is way more than I'm comfortable spending for a few experiments!

this was my RDWC with some little extras i included for myself like drip feed for starting seeds and clones and extra lines to pump out nutrient for res changes etc



no airstones just a pond pump

how much did that run you? for the set up only not nutes, and extras?

I had a bit of a look not long about i could build an 8 pot setup for bout 600,but then yea a chiller could set ya back another gorilla at least

I always thought air stones was a must, regardless of what kind of pump your using???

it isnt in the pics but the control bucket topped up automatically with a float valve from a larger res.

using H&G hydros nutes i could leave it a full week easy without even touching PH

A lot that can go wrong thats for sure. Risk vs reward thing i guess. That's why I would probably go with the cch20 system. They build em the right way.

So far I like it it’s pretty easy to use iv only verged under it so far tho
