GPW is always relative. Especially if its more than one light. If someone is using two lights and going for yield and is only getting a GPW then that's not good. He has two light spread to work with. If they are using 4 lights then that's allot of spread...
If I can pull a pound out of a 1.2 x 1.2 with a 600w HPS then anyone can pull a pound out of that space.

Ahhh that’s a good idea, is there much difference from coco or terra, terra is all different peat based mix together isn’t with some minerals? Lol
Yeah terra is peat based. Apart from being slightly cheaper I find the coco seems to dry out quicker, which I like so I can feed more often

Check these out to Ruby before you make a decision.
"Was going to mention that Atreum is also an ebay seller. It's the same as the website prices just free shipping and also they except "make and offer".
I just purchased 4x 288 v2 w/heatsinks to build a light for a buddy. I made an offer for $70 each and they excepted. Found a HLG 480-54A for $125 shipped. 18g wire, aluminum flat stock and L channel was less than $20. So roughly $425 for something similar to a HLG 550 v2, that's pretty damn good. "

Nah I run hps over summer an winter. Don’t have to many heat issues.

I just turn a heater on in winter mate but yeah if it’s real shit an slow growing I’ll just run led in summer. But if I don’t run fans an shit might be right.

Have not thought that far ahead to be honest.

But fuck I struggle to grow decent shit even in a tent in winter

Ebay wouldn't be free postage to Australia mate. Probably end up costing ya more for postage i reckon, have a look at the kits on quickbloom man.
Looked at the math and it’d be about $100ish cheaper for me to buy the atruem board/heatsink and driver than the same kit off quickbloom. That was only a single board light though more boards might mean less cost for shipping so even more savings.

Also remember hlg/quickbloom rape you on the heatsinks if you don’t buy the kits.
Surely you could get heatsinks cut to sIe from somewhere else?

The hlg boards would cost ya like 200 to get one here direct from hlg or the 145 from quickbloom, so atreum is definitely the cheapest option.
