same thing tells us theoretically a person can go into space and because they have mass (and anything with mass has a gravitational pull) they should be able to make small objects orbit them but in actual fact the minor gravitational forces from sun, moon and planets make this impossible
I love gravity. I recently spent $140 on a 1.5" x 1.5" 1kg cube of Tungsten, just so that I could hold it and feel it's mass. Gold would work too but $55,000 was out of my price range. I never tire of picking it up.

A teaspoon full of neutron star would weigh billions of kgs. Which is kinda cool to ponder.

yep same crappy ones i use. just dont get any water around the top and it will last for ages. thats the biggest difference witht the expensive ones. all the extra effort that goes into making them waterproof etc.
It's like comparing a Milwaukee drill to an Ozito, one is a cheap handyman tool and the other an expensive tradesman's tool.

I have a blue lab as my back up. Have never opened the box. My daily meter is HM PH-80 and I love it. It’s up there in price but also has temp. display which was handy thru winter. Also has something called automatic temperature compensation. Haha I have no idea what that does but sounds good lol!! But anyway I’ve had it about 12 months now and have calibrated it 3 maybe 4 times. Very happy with it!View attachment 4222243
XD that’s the one I have

I have found that even scientific stuff needs to be cross checked. Regarding cannabis and wavelengths and what would be the absolute optimum if you just wanted to build that for you own amusement and had the resources, is not well understood. So there is always a danger of forgetting this. One of the most egregious examples of this is tides. I spent years wanting to understand how tides work and just when I finally understood it backed up by genuine science it turns out that it was all wrong.

Sometimes people quote 'actual science' to back their claims up, and generally this is the right thing to do, but one has to recognise what is science and what is conjecture. Even scientists get a bit precious sometimes.

Like how Nile Degrassi Tyson got Pluto kicked out of being a planet n now it’s a planet again

However since you'll have used buffer solution you may as well store it in used buffer solution. Why not.

That's what I thought but then I thought well this cheap meter might crap out at any time and I already have buffer solution that I was going to throw away, why not just store it in the solution. It can't hurt and can only help. I'm going to consider my meter an ongoing product test. See how long it goes before it begins to go wonky.

What was even more impressive about this $7 buck meter, was that when it was calibrated to 7 and it read 6.9 in the 6.86 solution it occasionally showed 6.8 for a moment. As if it was hovering between 6.87 and 6.84, which is crazy.
That’s true iv iv calibrated it tbf there’s probly enouht water on it from being used for it to be wet enough so that’s why it probly jasent dried out sponge in it has gone mouldy tho

yeah i basically just rinse them off with tap water and then store with the cap on so they cant dry out. its not really submerged in tap. havnt had an issue this way. they do drift in calibration, i find im calibrating every 3 or 4 weeks but im kind of anal on PH. in case having 3 PH meters on hand at all times wasnt a giveaway of that
I rinse mine in bottled water and final rinse/store in *demineralised water. (The instructions recommend). And occasionally I’ll add storage solution to the sponge thingy in the cap.

How do I no what lower downs to take off if the botem most heat has grown up and is the same night as rest of canopy then do I leave that but take the lower down side branching or just the leaves that aren’t getting enough light and improve airflow
That's one of those things that you learn from experience.

That's just one of those things that you have to get to k

pH changes with temperature but it isn't really relevant to us because the amounts it changes by are outside of the range that we give a fuck about.

Lol I don’t follow those rules at all mine has held up well Even my old one works I thought it was fucked cuse it’s got the error symbol but lo n behold it is working fine

Tyson is one of the few TTC Lecturers that makes my ears bleed. Pluto was demoted not by Tyson but by consensus. Basically it was realised that there are lots of things out there some bigger than Pluto. It's not really a planet when the formation of the other planets is looked at, it just got captured later on and seemed like a planet because no one at the time knew about the other stuff that was out there.

Storage. Always keep your pH electrode moist. ... If 4 M KCl is not available, use a pH 4 or 7 buffer solution. DO NOT store electrode in distilled or deionized water—this will cause ions to leach out of the glass bulb and render your electrode useless.

And if you ask around enough you’ll still find a tradie who thinks Milwaukee tools are crap because of a past experience but you won’t find a single one recommending an Ozito.
I've yet to meet anyone that would say Milwaukee are crap and was on job sites for 15 years
