Those quantum lights everyone talks about got me thinking of changing up, they’re not that much more expensive.
I'm in the cob market now, looking to light a 4x4. Timber grow light model 2VL is $299. I found cobshop.net has something that appears similarly spec'd for $249 plus 5% discount when you sign up for their newsletter. I'm interested in whether or not cobshop is actually a better deal.Visit timbergrowlights.com and you won't be disappointed. Hurry you still have time to save your run. @RainDan
That's twice as much LED light as I have in a 2x4x6 tent.I have 2 -600w phlizon ‘full spectrum’ lights set up in a 2x4x5 tent.
Grow your crop. What should I do?
You don't have heat issues? People move to cob because it's more expensive to treat the heat than to invest in cobs.I went with a other cheap LED the last grow ,It was the Superbright name.Great for Veg the plants loved it.But the plant i had under it just did not seem to want to flower, has soon has i put the Mars LED on it ,it kicked it straight into flower and did very well just under 5 oz 4 gram under .Lemon Amber Kush.I will use that 1000 superbright again but for veg ,not flowering. My next indoor led is going to be the Street light led ,that i have got of a friend who makes them,un less i go with the mars cob, just waiting on newson that
If you build your own with strips either Samsung or bridgelux. You don’t need to solder anything. It’s all push in connecters.I'm also fairly handy with a soldering iron, maybe building my own kit would be ideal in terms of my price range.
No heat at all,The fan in the Light in combo with a 4 inch out let sorts that out .Need 4 inch for smell more than heat though. The Superbright 1000,has duo fans that are great that same next to no heat ,and for veg i will be using that far more,i would say its has good has t5 for veg with lot less heat.Has for Running cost around 5/6 pound a week and that is at most with all the fans has well.In total i have done around 6 grows in the tent with that light, and for the money, can't fault it.But i will not be taking my hps down for some time to come,I need them to get the meds i need. One time i am hoping on hitting my main room with the new led i have.I am not sure of the watts ,i just know its the brightest led,i have ever seen. Its one of the lights that are been used on uk streets now,A friend of mine builds them.So i am really wanting to try those out ,i have another coming soon ,But gotta say they look great and look like they will do a very nice job.But proof is in the pudding your smoking at the end.The mars has never produced less than 4 oz of nice tops ,apart from once when it did 3 oz 3/4 plus the bottoms that i don't weigh. That is water proof ,great units. You don't have heat issues? People move to cob because it's more expensive to treat the heat than to invest in cobs.
It is an illusion, they are actually cheaper when you start using them. Those quantum lights everyone talks about got me thinking of changing up, they’re not that much more expensive.
How much does it cost to get in the quantum door? Trying to cover 2 plants in flowering. It is an illusion, they are actually cheaper when you start using them.
The longer you use them, the cheaper they get.
HLG QB288V2 = Efficiency = heaps of light for sod all electric cost
Cheap & nasty blurple = heaps of electricity for sod all light
2 QB288V2 boards in my 2x4, it is completely lit "optimal" with only 270 watts draw from the plug
>cheap & nasty blurple = buy old stock diodes in bulk for sod all
buy the nastiest fans available so they get very noisy in a year to piss off the dumfuk buyer
Install in a nice flash looking case
add exaggerating "marketing spin" to fool dumfuk buyer<

I have 2 of these 135 kits in a 2x4How much does it cost to get in the quantum door? Trying to cover 2 plants in flowering.
Interested, can you link meI run the Samsung strips and each 2x4 cost me the equivalent of 8.5 grams of weed in electricity to grow out/
True, true...Just use them until you can afford to replace them with something much better. They will grow sticky lumps, just much slower than something much better.
"Phlizon 600W LED grow light can replace traditional 400 watt HPS/MH while consuming only 108 watts"
This is a blatant lie and is code for "run away, do not buy this crap"
Honest manufacturers of quality highly efficient LED`s like Horticulture Lighting Group & ChilLED Tech etc do not need to lie about the power of their lights.
You get what you pay for.
Just do it like Nike!!!That's twice as much LED light as I have in a 2x4x6 tent.
Grow your crop.
Grow it and show it!!!That's twice as much LED light as I have in a 2x4x6 tent.

grams per watt would work if the plant count and veg time were consistent in the measurement. It cant work right because there are too many variables.Grams per watt is an old system that requires a very short veg time, mainly obscured when led fanatics started applying it to their scogs #fail
@gwheels, I keep getting notifications about your journal but I can't access it... Just saying...grams per watt would work if the plant count and veg time were consistent in the measurement. It cant work right because there are too many variables.
With LED and CMH you should be able to get 1 to 1.5 grams per watt with a 4 to 5 week from seed veg. All variable based on strain and skill and conditions and all sorts of shit.
