Well its getting to be close to that time of year again... when the dreaded ripper comes out of its hole
to scour the country side at night...in search of peoples hard work....and love of a plant..
only to steal and slither off into the night.....
So Standing on guard thru the darkness hours seems to be the only way to ensure the ripper does not claim your hard work and medicine,,,
To those of us in this position... I wish you the very best of luck ...so you see a fruitful season this year.
Those of you who don't have to ...thank your lucky stars ....you have good neighbours....

Back to my post....lol

Get a bunch of dollar store razors and a bunch of trellis netting as well as some gorrilla glue (crazy glue will melt the plastic on most trellis nets)

Take apart the razors to get the razor blades

Glue razor blades all over the trellis nets then drape and weave the trellis nets covered in razor blades over your plants

Riper goes to rip and they wil get cut all over by the razor blades

Follow the yelps of pain and the blood trail to find your prey

Could add some Burmese tiger traps and log traps like in the Predator too... Seems a bit cartoonish.

Booby trapping a grow in Canada is about the dumbest thing you can do, it may be your instinct to protect your grow in such a way but if anyone gets injured with it you are in for a world of hurt financially in the form of fines and a lawsuit (them trespassing does not protect you from this), not to mention the jail time that goes along with it.

the big problem with booby traps is if the police happen to find their way into one....
they will show zero mercy
I patrol in absolute darkness...and will protect my property against intruders...
and will rely on a jury of my peers.... should things go bad for the intruder....

Corso's are beautiful dogs, like a giant pit.

Yes but you can still go to prison using a firearm on a person for trespassing or stealing, in general in Canada we value human life more than property. We can even have an AR-15 in Canada assuming we meet the requirements and pass the background check.

Your best bet for protection is simply being present, or having detourants such as motion sensing flood lights, or dogs.
