Germination: paper towel method, temp inside plates 75-77 degrees f, paper towel moist/wet but not dripping, after 2-2.5 days usually ready to plant in soil. Tap root should be 1/3 to 1/2 an inch long.
find 12-20 oz paper/plastic/Styrofoam cups (not clear) poke adequate drainage holes, mix soil with 40% perlite. Wet bottom 1/3rd until run off, then moisten every added inch with or two with a couple sprays of water from spray bottle until you reach the top. poke hole deep enough so the top of the seed is a little over 1/8th inch under the surface, gently pack down and cover seed. gently pour between 25-50 ml (1/2-1 oz) water over the seed.
Cover with dome (plastic bag, clear cup etc) if you'd like, put 36 inches under light. Don't mess with sprouts for at least 48 hours. After 2-3 days they should be ready for water. slowly water until you get a few drops of run off. They shouldn't need water for about 4 days. start lowering light an inch or two a day, with the goal of having the light roughly 20 inches by week 2/3. back lights off if seedlings get bleached leaves and move a little closer if theyre stretching.
continue watering every 4 days or whenever cup feels dry and light. after about 2-3 weeks when leaves overhang sides of cup transplant into 3 gal containers, mixed with soil and 20-40% perlite. water until you get runoff. let transplant settle for a day or two and start feeding according to the fox farm nutrient schedule beginning next watering, starting at under a 1/4 of their recommended dosage working up to about half. try to get a feel for container weight and water once light and dry.
at about 4-6 weeks from seed depending on how large you want your plant, flip to flower.
This is probably enough info to start people off, try to keep temps between 70-80. Idk if anyone will even look at this lol but this should help out anyone looking to grow with LEDs. This is a guide for educational purposes remember to follow your states laws
Arrogant fools think you know more than everyone
Ill out grow you with a 60 watt cfl lol, you think youre some kind of expert
My post was for noobs with zero equipment that cant keep a seedling alive for over a week. I wrote it for fun, take your stupid raccoon memes elsewhere. Wow so much arrogance here lmao
Your attempt to help seems sincere but you have a lot of growers that will disagree with some of the info you are listing.

No, its 268 Watts and adequately cover a 2x2 area.Your attempt to help seems sincere but you have a lot of growers that will disagree with some of the info you are listing.
What stands out as bad advice to me is this:
continue watering every 4 days or whenever cup feels dry and light. after about 2-3 weeks when leaves overhang sides of cup transplant into 3 gal containers, mixed with soil and 20-40% perlite. water until you get runoff. let transplant settle for a day or two and start feeding according to the fox farm nutrient schedule beginning next watering, starting at under a 1/4 of their recommended dosage working up to about half. try to get a feel for container weight and water once light and dry.

Newbies please disregard this part of the post above.
When you transplant into a 3 gallon pot of fresh ffof the last thing you want to do is fertilize for a few weeks especially with Grow Big.
Big Grow + fresh ffof = N tox.
Also. a $98 600W LED?
Everybody knows a $98 LED will not be equivalent to 600W.
Nothing wrong with helping but I'd spend more time reading vs writing.

RIU is a tough crowd, your gonna need thicker skin.If people only have dumb things to say whats the point
or book endsAll the blurples become veg lights dont they?
What kind of Cobs do you use? They seem like a cool light to try outThicker skin. Better lights. And even with that get ready for a war.
Basic basic grow get a 400 watt MH and let it rip. Cheap as it gets.
Get more cash get something better. I am running 500 watts of cob and quantum at the moment. I upgraded and my downgrades could light the next tent i buy. All the blurples become veg lights dont they?
