the guy's 51, if statistics are anything to go by it is probable the guy is overweight, maybe even obese......
you guys seem to think this is like those scenes in Games of Thrones where extremely fit stunt doubles run around in their underwear skipping through the forest like a pair of deer or someshit...
and the idea that a bulldozer just crawls along at 1/2 km per hour... never faster...
give me a break a bulldozer can move along at a jogging pace easily... much faster a person could move in some brush......
if the guy was not wearing a good set of boots slipping or tripping is always a possibility.....
he very likely was trying to get away/hide and slipped.
I work around heavy machinery all the time there's no loud screams or sounds of dramatic music in the background letting you know what's going on...
At the very least OSHA should look at this as a workplace incident. where the operator violated numerous guidelines - right off the bat I can tell you on a single seat bulldozer you should not be carrying more than 1 person and I can imagine at least another 3-4 heavy equipment violations.... lack of hardhats, no high viz vests, among others...
cops were lucky only one person died, way more could have been injured....
