Hydro guard storage temp & reproduction

If your in soil or coco recharge is very good too but it has molasses and is messy, not for hydro system...

Will this stronger concentrate also kill off my benes? I use hydroguard with og biowar in my flow and grow buckets. Might as well not waste money if the southern ag stuff is killing the og biowar bennie fungi and bacterias.

I cant answer that question, but if the two are getting along now, then you might not have any issues with the SoAg stuff - its the exact same stuff as Hydro Guard - just more concentrated. The OG bio stuff is not very concentrated - 125 colonies per gram - even when compared to Hydro Guard. Its like distilled water compared to the Southern Ag stuff.

OG Biowar = 125 CFU/ML
Hydro Guard = 10,000 CFU/ML
So Ag = 10,000,000,000 CFU/ML

cool, well i guess ill know when i try the southern ag stuff, if it kills the ogbiowar ill see it in my root production now that i think about it

Do you have any experience with or opinion on Orca in DWC?

When I ran hydro, i was running low on hydroguard so i started a colony in a 5 gal bucket, 3gals RO water with about a gallon of hydtoton in it and an air stone. Light nutes, around .2EC and some old leaves. I kept that bucket going for close to 4 months before I bought more, just kept adding water as I used it and light food/ leaves occasionally. I'd just dip a cup in and add it to my res once a week. Its a living organism, give it food and the right temps and it will keep the colony thriving. I'm still working off the same gallon I bought back then, going on 2+ years now?

I know you can breed bacteria by using molasses and humus I do It in Heisenberg tea with hydroguard along with Greatwhite Shark Powder. Best root product I’ve used is heisenberg tea and I’ve ran hydroguard/ Southern AG individually. Not really a fan of the southern AG doesn’t keep everything as good looking as I’m used to now.
I’m assuming it works to breed just the bacteria in hydroguard but throw in a half scoop of great white in there trust me man. There’s probably a cheaper alternative to the GWS too maybe a GH subculture. The guy who invented Heisenberg tea is on here named heisenberg too the ingredients used to be different but these are the modern versions, back when hydroguard was aquasheild.
I use ancient forest humus and blackstrap molasses as well

The guy who said 20:1 Water:AG was correct but then you ad that at 1ml per gallon so you add 20 ml water to 1 ml Ag then add that at a rate of 1 ml per gallon. Read the amazon comments. If you call them though they’ll tell you it’s not for recirculating system. And it’s not the same a thing it’s a different species or variety then hydroguard.

Heisenberg tea
-2 gallons de-clorinated tap water (let airate 24 hours)
Water must be airated, add some air stones and pump a Walmart pump will work
-15-30ml hydroguard
- .25-.50 scoop Great White Powder (scoop comes with it.)
This has tricoderma and several other species of root Friendly bacteria you’d be growing/multiplying along side the bacillus.
-1 handfuls ancient forest humus place into sock, tied and let sit in water above air stone. (More species of bacteria/fungi)
1 tablespoon Blackstrap molasses
(The food)
Add all to water and let sit with air for 48 hours. That is peak multiplication point. Add 1 cup per gallon 3 days apart if problemed
Every 1-2 weeks for routine maintenance.

I don’t know if Karo would work it’s not like a liquid culture I’m sure it has the means to feed the bacteria just don’t know if you’d want to add that to your Rez/plants.

Question on the GFF/Sothern Ag stuff... What does it look like? Got me a bottle and having used Hydroguard before it was quite different looking.

Also, at this concentration what are issues to be aware of if accidental over doing it? Wondering if I should make 1 gallon and then use small doses of that instead of using undiluted directly. Anything to worry about?

Already posted the ratio before your post. I think this stuff is an in case of an emergency type cause it is so cheap and the result aren’t my standard.

To Be Clear 1ml of Southern AG GFF will treat 21 gallons of water

Thanks for the pic! That's what it looks like - such a radical difference from the prior experience I had to wonder.

"And it’s not the same a thing it’s a different species or variety then hydroguard."

I thought they were both the exact same strain... Either way I thought I'd check it out as a cheaper alternative and jumped on the bandwagon. Too damn many 'specialty' products that are just diluted shit or worse something that should be dry form and they're selling/shipping water. Trying to make smarter purchases each time I need to replace something in the arsenal.. it either stays or go's and if it stays I look for dry or high concentation versions of...
