I've harvested the top buds off my little auto to dry and let a little more light in to the lower ones. Pretty small harvest, only a couple pounds i reckon. pretty speedy smoke, a little bit paranoid too, but it was my first smoke in a few years too. pretty happy with it over all for a freebie seed and first grow

Here's a stupid question for bob and the rest.
If you have a great quality seed but grow a rubbish plant that you've mistreated and only just survived etc, can that plant still produce as good seeds as the original ? Or will it give you rubbish seeds ? I've got some Dinachem that I found 2 seeds from a while ago and had to go away for a few days and the seedlings almost died so on their way to recovering. Eventually I'd like to get some seeds from them in a year or two just as seeds are easier to keep than clones obviously. But should I even both or should I just order some more ?

Sorry I won't be growing them over a year but in a year or two but when I'm stocked up enough I would like to keep the strain without having to keep plants in case I move etc so would like to just have some seeds. I was just going to get the pollen from just some local random plant.

Yes I was wondering what your plans are as well. I’m thinking growing outdoors in Australia this Time of year they will keep vegetating until February they will end up monsters. I’ve never started plans off this early and I’m happy to learn something if anyone has had success just starting them off super early
No they wont keep vegging. They will flower early.

Whats your setup?
100w blurple for the first few sets of leaves, then i put her outside, so was only getting a few hours of direct winter sun. the next few seeds i've just popped are under the blurple again but i've added 100w of strips, ~200w if i get around to adding some heatsink. the driver is only good for 185w. i've also got some cree cxa2440 (i think) that ive put on an old cpu heatsink with fan, and i can run that up to 40v and 1.8 amps, so I'll add those sometime. i use an old laptop charger that outputs 20v, and an ebay buck boost converter to step up to the 40v, so it's a pretty cheap 70w light. I have 4 led cobs and 4 strips to play with but not much space. I'm mostly tinkering til spring comes and i can get some outside.
