Anyone run 2" net pots from clone to harvest?

Dude, you have to buy a pair of razor blade
Hose cutters from craftsmen they will cut stalks like butter unless it wont fit in the jaws then you need to give it a few cuts but its so nice
After that id just grab my sawsall

They were nuts last run. I bought snips that are able to cut 3/4” tree branches so hoping they work. Fed the stalks to the goats and pigs and they had fun chewing those for a while lol.

The hose cutters are great and they take standard razor blade when dull

You cant even put too much pressure on the handles cause the blade cuts so freely


If your branch shears dont make you happy
Try em i guarantee you will use them

Plus they are excellent at cutting air hoses and flex hose ....i would estimate i was at at least 1inch to mabey an 1,3/4+ inches on my last stalks and it breezed through

my 3.5 foot ghost train haze is doing fine in its 2" home at 4 weeks.

stretch slowing down and buds starting to pack on some weight now.

she's my tallest. net pots doing great so far.

I guess the fence post rails I put mine in for flowering must be much stronger then the lids you mention. I have had plants over 5' tall, give me 8+ ounces without breaking through, I mean the entire netpot becomes a stalk and they are a bitch to get out but I have never had one fall through.

that is why my plants are tied off and anchored around 6" of the tote. may need to tie them off a little tighter, but i am hoping that additional anchor point will prevent them from falling through.

we are going to find out.

not really, I have trellis netting up to help hold the buds up but basically I put the 2" netpot in the rail, the use zip ties to hold the netpot down but that is about it, I guess that is another advantage to the fence post as a rail, I can get zip ties around that.

i see what you have done. i am in RDWC which allows my net pots to fall all the way in. not sure yours would drop enough to hurt things. thanks for sharing.

basically this is what i have done. i also have a trellis @ around 28" off the tote.

last pic shows ghost train haze in the back corner and sour wreck in the foreground. truthband and sour diesel have not reached the trellis yet, but they are younger in 12/12. had to replace a couple males that showed up...

forgive the mylar survival blankets, they are temporary and better than the osb board. i used to run tents in this room.

well i am 60 days in on my oldest and tallest, 42", and there are no problems with the 2" net pots with no hydroton. have 7 other plants from 57 days to 32 days. all are doing great.

between the trellis and stem support/tie off at 6" above the totes i am making this work.

NO MORE CLEANING HYDROTON !!!! WOOHOO !!!!!

yes, i will take some pics before harvest and hopefully at harvest. no way the roots are gonna come back through the hole in the tote, i will have to slice them off under the net pot.

that's my plan, a treliis or two. i use tote boxes, 20 gallon and i anticipate the 2 inchers have the same problem. nothing that a little duct tape can't sole

Dude I use 2 inch netpots and that's it. As far as Duct tape it won't work or WILL get wet and makes a Huge mess! To solve this use original Gorilla glue and fasten those bad boys right to the lids and voila another qp+ per girl that doesn't fall over.

I use 2" net pots in a roughneck tub for NFT. I have a SCROG net about 12" above the tub and in ~ six grows have had no fall thrus.

I do but i do micro grows soo probably no help to you. Works great for me.i pulled it out of dwc one time with strong lst but other than that its great
