How big is your tent? what kind of filters and 8'' duct fan are you using? Do you keep the duct fan running all the time? sorry I'm new and trying to learn in any shape way or form.Sorry about the hps pic i only took theme so you can get an idea of my problem before harvest I will take good pics under normal light!!View attachment 4139011 View attachment 4139012
I have a 5x5 tent 8 in inline fan 963 cfm(or something real close) and the big carbon scrubber but it's way over powered! The fan runs through a cool tube 1k hps and Ithe on the the same timer as the lights! I also have a 10k btu window unit ac to keep everything cool during the summer during the winter Temps stay perfect and the helps keep everything warm in the house. How big is your tent? what kind of filters and 8'' duct fan are you using? If you have anymore questions just ask!How big is your tent? what kind of filters and 8'' duct fan are you using? Do you keep the duct fan running all the time? sorry I'm new and trying to learn in any shape way or form.
I have a 5x5x7 gorilla planning to run 15 cobs in it total of 750watts with 4 plants. Stupid question; Is the duct fan suppose to run all the time? I read somewhere as temp rises, duct fan kicks in with one of those controllers and once it reaches a cert temp it shuts off.If you have anymore questions just ask!
it really depends on your set up! My window unit is always running and controlling Temps at about 70 in the room so I have no need to run my inline fans during the dark! I have another oscillating fan that's always running! But if your extremely worried about smell I would leave it on 24/7I have a 5x5x7 gorilla planning to run 15 cobs in it total of 750watts with 4 plants. Next time go for a harvest every 4 weeksWhen I first planned my perpetual goal was to harvest every 2 weeks and it was just a mess!
My plan is very similar to that I just need a second light for flowering I already have a veg room and the seedlings just get put where they fit lolNext time go for a harvest every 4 weeks
You will need 3 areas, like 1 closet for seedlings, 1 for veg and 1 for bloom.
4 week seedling, 4 week veg and then 8 week bloom.
It all balances out nicely.
get a silica supplement, you got weak ass stems hahahah!!OK guys I got one plant with bud so big and heavy they keep falling over the stems are massive but still can't handle the weight of the growing buds still have about 2-3 weeks until harvest! I used some shifty string to tie the ones leaning over to the top of the tent! I've heard of yoyos but I have no idea the actual name of the product someone help plzzz!!
WHAT DO YOU GUYS DO???
No your actually not kidding one of my tallest plants was leaned over like it was taking it in the ass I had to tie her to the top of the tent!get a silica supplement, you got weak ass stems hahahah!!
just kidding.
I don't use any nutes ever! Only compost teas, coco waterings, plain water, and organic top dressings!it definitely helps with stronger stems. tie em up, build a better foundation next run. you'll be straight. there are training techniques, and lighting techniques, preferred spectrums for veg vs flower, even environmental variables you can change like keeping your day and night temps closer that would help promote less stretch and create tighter internodes, that will create stronger stems. also, feeding veg nutes until you see buds, before switching slowly to a flowering nutrient profile, instead of switching to flowering nutes as soon as you switch to flowering light schedule. this is something i learned first hand. listen to the guys with the best looking plants, this is what i do. plus, read legit articles on horticulture and greenhouse growing practices. mj is a plant, there is no SECRET to how to grow it. honestly, the less you do, to a point, the better off they seem to look and healthier they grow.
still look for a silica supplement. it will help. nutes are nutes, plant will use them. megacrop is going for organic certification fwiw, check it out, and you can het a free 1/2lb sample shipped to your door, costs like #4 for shipping.https://greenleafnutrients.com/product/mega-crop/?v=7516fd43adaa:I don't use any nutes ever!
