AR's wont get banned ever. Too easy to make.
I need a decent press so i can make one in .308
Why? A stripped lower is 30 or 40 bucks. It would cost way more than that to build one.

Check out polymer80.com. You can make them with a drill press or dremel and they have good reviews for torture test.

They sell glock 80% receivers as well.
yeah, with these 80% lowers, i think my 6 yr old could make one with her fisher price tool kit.
Aluminum ones can be tricky. The polymer ones are easier.

One company was raided and shut down for the way they molded the receiver. They molded the receiver first then filled the part that needed removed in a different color. They were technically a firearm built that way before they were filled. If they would of cast the plug first there wouldn't be a problem.

Its not against the law to make your own firearm. They cant ban the 80% lowers.

80% is not recognized by the atf. Meaning there is no percentage that is a go or no go. A company has to send one in to the atf to be inspected. 80% is just a name.

Its just a paperweight and not an actual firearm. No way to ban it. You can buy everything but the receiver without a background check. A person could order a 80% receiver and the build kit and technically not be in possession of a firearm. Just keep them put up for a rainy day.

You lie about me being a meth user. I am a medical grower. You are guilty.
LOL

I can't hurt somebody's reputation when all they have is a bad one. The worst I can say to anybody is "you're like Mich med"

Now then, regarding your poor choice of words:

I was answering someone else here. Guess someone gave a flying fuck. Fuck off.
Don't you think you should say something to show you understand the incivility in what you said?

I don't see how you could ban 80% receivers. You can make a shotgun with a couple pieces of gas pipe and they work great.

You would have to ban the intent not the materials.

Better be careful. Now Buck is going to want permanent immediate bans on dremel tools, drill presses and now the internet.

Look what you have done man!

No. Stay wrong lost and frustrated. No proof of anything for you. Simply no need. Doesn’t matter what you say about me. I defend me for me.

Could never happen. People are shooting 12g shells out of flare guns.
In countries with the strictest gun laws now air rifles are taking over. 50 cal pellets with a crazy high FPS.
Yea. I've seen water buffalo taken with an air gun.

I actually hunt squirrel and rabbit with a break barrel pellet rifle. If I fire aluminum pellets they will break the sound barrier and make a little sonic boom. Its crazy.

Deadly accurate. I mean I can literally drive nails with it at 40-50 yards.

Are you suggesting that banning guns doesn’t work?

And now I want a pellet gun. This is going nowhere! ;-)

No proof of your claim was offered. You have no authority. You just troll and troll and troll. Like a bad child.

What caliber .22?

I saw some pretty high tech looking pellet rifles at the local gun shop for a bout $250-$300. Didn’t ask about them or research yet.

But I don’t want a firearm here with the medical Grow and I do live out in the woods with few neighbors and lots of wild animals.

If you look at the bills currently before Congress, there is no talk of banning guns. The only people talking about banning guns is the gun lobby to rally opposition to the very reasonable actions that are being proposed.

You pay for what you get... what he was talking about was probably a .50

Actually it came with 2 barrels. One in .177 and one in .22. 100 bucks at Wal-Mart. Chinese one. I had a 300 buck one made by Gamo. It was junk. I shot one someone had and ended up finding the same one at Wal-Mart.

It has a rifled barrel.

I wasn't really saying bans were being called for.

It kind of bothers me that someone could build such a weapon without anyone knowing. I'm not against the idea of someone building thier own guns. I can see how it could be a problem.

I've already shown you it stands for armalite rifle.
Here is the ar-1.

Here is the ar 17 shotgun

Here is the ar 30 bolt action

Here is the ar 50 bolt action.

It all started with the ar1 parasniper rifle and moved on to .22 cal survival rifles.

The ar15 and 10 are the only two that were assault weapons. The ar15 later became the m16 as the current ar15 is only semi auto.

So there it is.
That Air Force .22 survival cal survival rifle was (and still is, even though Henry makes them now) called the AR-7. ;)
