looks like it would be bombproof but i dont know how id fit that in a little tent
Haha they seem it. You could mount the fan at the top and blow through your filter outside the tent? That's minimum space

They have 4" or 6" in a couple of different configurations if that's more fitting.

I ran the whisperline fans for 12 months then made the switch to hyper, Havnt looked back. There good dont get me wrong but ill take a hyper before another whisperline.
Interesting cheers, Which size did you try? What's different about the two? Noise levels on both?

First off there bulky as fuck and id be fastening them to good rafters, if your in a small tent forget about it. Second they are quite loud in comparison to others we have used and put out a vibrating sound after 6months I pulled them apart no foreign objects in there, I put it down to panel movement and shit pop rivets. BUT they did go 12 months without shitting themselves which is more than i can say for some. We have had the hypers for over 2 years now and there's been no change in performance yet. Hope this helps ya out some.

anyone know anything about max fans? had a chat to the hydro dude closest to me and he suggested em. hes got hyper fans as well but fuck me the silenced one is 450 and thats without a filter
yea they ant cheap. Can you listen to a couple of them?

Local hydro shop hooked a few up for me so I could wunder around and listen to the sound and play with the speed controller.

ill add the fan itself is pretty damn quiet but the air exciting creates a vortex and it is not quiet. But I have my Filter inside the tent- ducting- Fan outside the tent- duct to exit. Perhaps having the filter at the end would quieten it down some.

So the fresh 6" without silencer is quieter? Rattling doesn't sound to bad/could be fixed since I love some diy. I was planning on using the 8" 440cfm turned down to 50% pushing through a big phresh filter, in my mind that would be quiet? I'm only in a 4'x2' cupboard haha.

Cheers that's good info

Weird look to a bud or two on.the shark looks almost like a foxtail job but I'm putting it down to the sativa in it.
...balancing between being a great plant.or mediocre still not convinced yet

i reckon that just looks like its doing its thing. it also might never stop throwing out the odd little tail even when its done. looks like a decent bit of filling out to go yet

I was actually at my local hydro store today. He tried to talk me into about 7 or 8 bottles of "stuff". Its amazing what people must think they need to grow.

if its worth it I'll buy it but if someone can save me a hundred bucks here or there then I can spend that $ on something more fun
@Lucky Luke he probably would hook em up in the shop but its a couple hours drive away. no plans to head that way for a while
I like to use the Vortice Lineo 315 in-line fans they can be wired up for 2 speeds and with the speed turned down they move a shit load of air with minimal noise
