I would search for any breeders who say the strain is good for BHO production. After than I guess it comes down to the pheno hunt.

Girl Scout Cookies I am growing, the leaves have a good amount of trichomes. In the canopy picture, the two in the back are the cookies and have bigger fan leaves with trichs on them (you can see a few of them). I know there are a few better strains strictly for BHO, but this is what I got.

This pic caught my attention
Then I started researching , I can’t find another pic of this strain from this Breeder that is even close to this frosty.
Was this one of the very special phenos that you’ll never find again?
Is this just a really nice pic that someone slapped on this site to sell ? Idk.

I’m always looking too.

I was just at the dispensary and the grow dude there was telling me how to be very wary of breeder pictures, that most of the time you don't get what they picture for various reasons. He advised me to rely more on these forums to see for myself what people are growing and from who.

I always research, and cross referencing
I don’t have time to run junk .
I toss genetics in the trash monthly
I know lots of people that would be happy with what I scrap.
I tossed 2 pheno of C99 last week. If I had more veg ready , I would have tossed the hole strain.

It’s good smoke , but doesn’t have the density I like , making trimming more of a pain. Doesn’t have the heavy stone I like being a very heavy smoker.
But it’s good for making hash.
But on to the next ...

Mikado, from Hazeman.
Ive seen considerable frost on fan leaves, trichs on the petioles, and stems.....
Pics or it didn't happen???? Then I guess it didn't happen....
(it did happen)

Growing a Cookies and Chem from Greenpoint Seeds about the third week of flower but the trichomes have started showing everywhere even on the fan leaves. Hopefully it will end up being one frosty trichomes salad.
