He wasn't asking trim time. Just chop, buck, hang.30 man hours per pound. IMO I spent about 2 hours on what looks like will be a little less than a zip today. Chopped, trimmed and hung.
two hrs on one zip? That's nuts.30 man hours per pound. IMO I spent about 2 hours on what looks like will be a little less than a zip today. Chopped, trimmed and hung.
Exactly. Are you writing a business plan?
Where do people pay 60 an hour? It used to be it topped out at 20 here but with all of the legal shops it's down to 12-15.two hrs on one zip? That's nuts.
I work for $60 an hr so just my time would add $120 to the cost of the oz....
A 3/4 time work week to do a pound is pretty rough. I don't mean to be confrontational and don't want to sound like an ass here but in all honesty one person should be able to do anywhere from around 2 to maybe 5-6 pounds in an 8 hour day, not including breaks.30 man hours per pound. IMO I spent about 2 hours on what looks like will be a little less than a zip today. Chopped, trimmed and hung.
Is that an online gamer tag?I love trimming.
My nick in games these days is Budd Trimmer.
I was curious. I'm a console gamer. I haven't been active for a while either though.yah
My PC is getting so old I don't do much online gaming anymore.
im not talking about wagers for trimming. I'm guessing that would be min wage.Where do people pay 60 an hour? It used to be it topped out at 20 here but with all of the legal shops it's down to 12-15.
But we're also still not talking about trimming. Besides, that's paid for by weight.im not talking about wagers for trimming. I'm guessing that would be min wage.
IDK why your making this so confusing ...But we're also still not talking about trimming. Besides, that's paid for by weight.
You started talking about what you get paid hourly elsewhere so I figured it was a safe assumption that you were still talking pay for working in this industry. Since that's been the topic this whole time and wages for other jobs are completely unrelated.IDK why your making this so confusing ...
I was replying to this initially:

Then I said my hrly working rate would make the cost of a ounce an extra $120.
And then you asked were do people make $60 an hr. Answer to that is everywhere but I didn't say it was in the Cannabis industry.
I don't think the person I quoted gets paid by a 3rd party to harvest and trim...do you?You started talking about what you get paid hourly elsewhere so I figured it was a safe assumption that you were still talking pay for working in this industry. I don't care how much a lawyer, nurse, engineer or anyone else makes at another higher paying job. You're not going to get 60 dollars an hour on one job because that's what you make doing another completely unrelated job.
I didn't say anything about a third party. But yes, some businesses will use third party financing to cover payroll.I don't think the person I quoted gets paid by a 3rd party to harvest and trim...do you?
Well if someone is going to pay the fellow an hrly rate for him to harvest and trim under an ounce of cannabis in two hrs I think they might need finance to cover payroll.I didn't say anything about a third party. But yes, some businesses will use third party financing to cover payroll.
lol my quoting and reply to Retired guerrilla had nothing to do with your original post., Just like his original post. If trimming is paid by weight it still works out to a dollar amount if like me your employed elsewhere...Which was the point of my post....Trim.ming is paid by weight. My original question was about man hours to process at harvest while leaving all of the trim intact. There has definitely been some "drift" here.
