---!!!!TL;DR!!!!--- All of the very important information is in bold text. Please make sure you read these parts. I would appreciate it very much.
Hello everyone, hope you are all well.
I've been growing cheese since xmas, and currently just under about 2 weeks of flower.
This is my first grow and more of an experiment as I started it after simply finding a seed in a baggy I purchased from my dealer and decided to attempt to cultivate it so I am not surprised that it turned out to be herm.
I previously had no experience or knowledge growing any kind of plant, so I think the experiment was a success despite the plant turning out hermaphrodite. I have 2 feminized seeds in the cupboard which I'm eager to start as I know now I have learned enough to be able to grow these safely.
This is the only plant in my grow space which is 3sqft.
I took my plant out of the tent this morning for inspection and I found that some of the pistils had already started to turn orange. Upon further inspection I also found small pollen sacs growing on the plant which suggests that it has pollinated itself.
I sterilized my pruning shears and attempted to remove some pollen sacs and then realized there were many more of them than I initially thought and also there are some growing right in the middle of my bud sites. I don't want to ruin the female flowers by trying to remove male flowers that are very close to them.
Want to know what you think I should do. Below are what I believe to be my options currently. If you have a totally different idea, tell me!
A) Continue to let the plant flower, the buds may still continue to grow slightly. Flush and harvest once all pistils are orange and trichomes are milky and remove seeds from the product.
B) Flush the soil and harvest as soon as possible. The buds aren't going to get any bigger as the plant is focused entirely on producing seeds.
C) Dispose of the hermaphrodite and start the feminized seeds immediately.
