Once I see roots come out of the bottom I pop them into whatever medium I’m using.

I’ve got:
6 The Deputy (Reg seeds from Green Point Seeds)... looks like 4 are gonna make it
and
1 Nirvana-GSC...looks like 1 is gonna make it (details in my signature).

I just got in some Nirv-Lemon OG Haze Fem and Raspberry Cough Fem. I’ll probably replace the plants that don’t make it; w each (I’ll use the RR method this time). I just bought a prop dome and heat mat last week. I usually just plant into forever pot and if the plant doesn’t make it I don’t like reusing the same soil. Being able to let them start in a RR will hopefully work better for me. Thanks for your help!

So, I typically germ my seeds in paper towel and have had good germination success. Also, I typically will plant germinated seeds into their final pot/medium. I’ve had some issues w seeds fully sprouting. Environmentals are optimal in my growing spaces 70-75* and 75-85% humidity (for early veg stage).

I have a propagation dome and some rapid rooters (I’ve never used a dome or rapid rooters before) and was wondering if I can start the seedlings in the rapid rooters (in the propagation dome) and plant the RR directly into my medium (for the duration of the grow) once the roots develop a bit in the dome...??? This way, I’d at least be using/wasting less medium/electricity.

If so, should I germ the seeds before dropping into the RR, or just soak the seeds in water a bit; letting the germ process happen in the RR in the dome?

then dump a dome on them for any idle fungi/mold spore to party on

hence curtailing? your dreams

I soak the RR well squeeze out extra water sit them on my modem???

and pop they up come

avoid dome avoid excess water and please understand

damping off is a mold/fungi not a car cleaning method

Man...am I super confused by the first part of this post—you’re not an engineer per chance, are you? Lol. The sentence fragments and short-hand are really hard to decipher.

It should be noted:
An increasing amount of high end breeders. Will not honor any guarantee of seeds popping if you "soak" your seeds.
It does work but, you should know that doing so in water devoid of, or low in dissolved O2. Is asking for trouble.
Do not use distilled water to pop seeds!

Adding a few drops of H2O2 will correct that problem with low O2 levels....

Once cracked, those seeds are using that O2 to further build. Leaving them in soaking water to long, can "drown" them...

I simply stick them in. I don’t used paper towel or soaking or anything.

They come in packs of 12, 24, 48 etc...
It's just peat, but it's all a seedling needs to pop and start rooting.
Then you put them right in the soil of your choice.
I like the peat. It comes with a biodegradable net around each disc and you can cover the seed to your liking.
A dome is good if your humidity is very low. Occasionally I'll cover them during the dark cycle (18/6) if needed.

We call them jiffy pots around here I've used them for my herb gardens and smaller seeds in the vegge garden. I don't do dirt so have no experience with them in cannabis

I’ve been using distilled H2O for my seedlings as I’m on well water and my tap water has pretty high iron content. This is a mistake?

I use my well waterfor all my grows hydro or soil.

Nothing, I simply have well water and have been using if for years to grow with. I don’t ph it for my soil grows just water and go. I ph it for my rdwc room though because it needs it. It’s there and readily available to boot. My well water is about 200ish ppm from the tap and a smooth 7 on the ph scale. I have ro water and all that put I use it for making tea and cooking mostly. I have never ran into an issue running my water for grows. I’ve had mine tested and it good water mostly calcium and a few other trace minerals my plants inside and out love it as do my chickens, goats, pigs and cow.

Gotta have ro for tea and home brew. Nothing worse than well water scale on your kettle
