I finished my first run using maxibloom the whole run with some calmag because it is "close" to lucas. It went well but I'm going to try and imitate a jacks 321 for the next run (jacks doesn't seem readily available in Canada).
While researching available dry fertilizers I found that the maxibloom doesn't actually hit the ppm ratios in lucas.
Npk ppm in lucas looks like this:
106
46
175
Maxibloom ppm is:
106
139
245
Potassium is quite a bit higher and the phosphorus is significantly higher.
Jack's 321 however looks like:
102
41
171
Which is pretty much identical to lucas.
So my question is... Is phosphorus ratio really not that important? A 1-2 N-K ratio is the important part? Any Canadians know where to get jacks 321 or a similar 5-12-26 formula?
Thanks
