Please help with odor control, day 46 of flower and I could smell weed outside my house today

Is noise a factor? I envy the size of his crop and a full room to grow it in, and him living in a house and not a shared dwelling. I would think noise would not be a factor. A rethink of my air circulation and carbon scrubbing might be in order if I had that setup. Costly? Maybe. Probably.
Just because you own a home doesn’t mean it can be noisy. I have three rooms I run I don’t have anyone around for a mile or so but my wife’s rule is if it’s noisy fix it or no more if the smell can be smelled outside the rooms fix it or no more. Gotta keep the wife happy that’s the main factor for me lol.

Pulling air through
:peace: you need negative air pressure (pasive income hole covered eg. with a cardboard box against the light) - pulling out with both fans in a row if necessary.

i once had the same problem - and found it much better to put ona gel or other room ambients
on a rag inside a bigger plastic bag with lots of little holes.
Then you tape, wire, fix that bag onto your outcoming air tube and blow it up - the air mix is much better inside the bag :weed:

If the air coming out of your plastic bag still smells to weed - you have to renew the carbon filter.

Why cover the intake hole? You can achieve negative pressure with a passive intake.my fans can pull the doors shut there’s so much negative pressure in the rooms. Passively taking in air and I have my geo pumping nice conditioned air in.

Noise really isn't an issue. I own the house and only have close friends and family over here and there.
Unfortunately I'm not sure how much more growing I'll be doing after this. I got a notice in the mail that our city is having "smart meter's" installed this summer and I've read that that allows people behind the computer to know exactly what electronic device you're using and the whole 9 yards..

put the carbon filter and fan INSIDE the grow room and have it exhaust outside the room. Make hole that is going to be passive in the room, 6 or 8" ducting with a couple bends or just wind it in a circle and light will not leak into the room. Make sure there is no leak between the fan and filter connection, leaks anywhere past the fan output are fine as it will just leak filtered air.

also that carbon filter looks a bit small for the fan so you may want to first find out the flow for it then get a VARIAC and tune it down a bit. or get a real carbon filter like canfilter CAN 100 or 150 and be worry free for a couple years.
The fan is inside the room and exhausting air outside it. It's an 8x20 inch filter, it says on the box 500 cmf but the company claimed it was a typo and that it's equal to the cfm of their 8" fan which I believe is around 750cfm. Not sure if that's a bs story though. If I do anymore growing after this I'll definitely get some new gear for odor to be sure that this doesnt happen again

The filters I use are damn near 4 foot long they last forever too.

to know exactly what electronic device
tell your company that you want to prepare hot water with electricity - and may be they are glad to offer you a special tarif.
i use watercooled led light in combination with a heatexchanger and i prepare lots of hot service water every day... 9 yards sound like min.2500W ---> 500L of hot water every day -
is a huge whirlpool :fire:

They can’t tell what your running. There’s plenty of there here that have the smart meters are grow and have talked to a lot of ppl about them. If they’re telling you they can tell what your running it’s more a scare tacticthan factual.
Well that's good news :-)

You really don't want a smart meter, and in some state you can refuse to have one installed....but that may raise flags at their end.

Odor has been the reason I had to shut down my basement grow, and how I got ripped off at the mobile home I moved my grow to. You do not want to put off controlling your odor. I have not read any of the comments here, but the only way to truly control odor is sealing your room 100% and run CO2. Even then I would still have a big-ass carbon filter to scrub the odors inside the room as you'll stink if you spend any amount of time in there.

why? smart meters are no issue. The only way isn’t a completely sealed room. I’ve had cops in my house, friends, family and all the like no one was the wiser that there were a shit ton of plants downstairs.

I'd be shitting bricks if the cops came to my door. In fact I'm terrified every time the dogs even bark or look out the window. Being close to harvest has actually had me stressed and paranoid to the max lately. Only because my main grow equip(lights, tent, fans, filters, ect) were ordered offline and shipped to my door. Not all at once but I've still ordered lots of things since I started. Other than that I don't have reason to be worried.
I don't have grow stores around here that sell equip like that, do you guys think that was a dumb move ordering that stuff to my door?

I’m in a legal state but even so I simply don’t worry. I used to live in Louisiana before I had joined the military and never had a problem. Then when my wife and I got out just moved to her home state.
