Why cover the intake hole? You can achieve negative pressure with a passive intake.my fans can pull the doors shut there’s so much negative pressure in the rooms. Passively taking in air and I have my geo pumping nice conditioned air in.
This... my door is almost too hard to open which i may make my passive intake bigger to compensate

Remove the I take fan and filter. Make the room passive. For an 8 inch fan you would want two 8 inch intake holes.

Take the spare fan and filter and set it up to scrub the air where you are exhausting.
And this

If you look online you can find designs for light proof intake vents basically a big box that air has to do 3 90 turns
Just find the area in 8 inch circle x 2 i think it comes out to be around 6x14 inches
I made mine around 4 by 16 i think id have to measure.
But i get huge neg pressure.

But it also helps that my room is as sealed as you can make it without being a scientist lol
Even my stud joints are caulked :)

Yeah I could get a little more niddy griddy as far as sealing.
After this harvest a bit of a tear down and some slight renovations are in store. I'd also like to get rid of the carpet and put in some laminate.

Yah carpet in the grow area is bad. I had extra pergo wood flooring left laid it in my rooms and covered them with orca film

Yeah I also had broad mites during veg, defaeted them for the time being but Im suspecting they've started to work there way back to a couple plants. Surely the carpet is harboring some pests. Definitely has to go.
