fact buds,never liked it as a night out, much prefer how i spend it now, but i think thats a thing of youth... you know like your missing something by not being out...

hope all had a great christmas and new year... i had a smasher of a christmas night... took me till now to get right over it..

couldnt even think straight for the last few days, barely managed to cobble together a day here and there with them out and about doing the christmas thing, all i wanted was my couch and a spliff to recover... and tea as much tea as you can make..

apart from that on top form for the new one, and i hear cali are passing a rec cannabis law so maybe in 20 years it might get here...
 
Gorilla bomb man cant wait to get it going Yeah pretty plain alright . Best packaging ive ever got was HSO with the carved piece of wood some job
 
Happy new year to everybody. I just moved from california to ireland a month ago and am ready to get my grow going. I bought a 2 ft 4 bulb t5 to get some seeds going but Im not sure which 600 watt ballast to get. My local shop has a lumii digita for a decent price but ive read a lot of bad reviews about them failing within a year. I was also thinking about just getting one of the cheap omega kits on amazon since it has a 5 year warranty. Does anybody have experience with either of these ballasts? Thanks for any input

I use a 600 watt dimmabe omega ballast and have it just over a year and have had no problems so far . Would recommend

any of the grow shops will do you a light kit, basic barn reflector, bulb and ballast for about 150 ish... from sunblaster up ...

might aswell get a cheap one, they`ll be covered for the year if you hold the reciept, and you can always get a good one and keep it spare until the other does give up the ghost..

get you going anyways...

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will be doing a 4 plant scrog in a 5x5 tent but only using 4x4 of it with a 600watt mh/hps. Ill be using some sort of soilless medium with bottled nutes in 1 then 5 gallon pots. Not sure which strains ill be going with but most likely 2 indica dominant hybrids and 2 sativa dominant.

Nice that sounds about normal. Do you use air cooled hoods here in the winter? Im thinking of just opening a Window in the room the tent will be in and going with an adjust a wing for now but ill go with air cooled if necessary. Ill have to see what temps look like once i buy everything.
