If you know anyone that runs a restaurant or does pub grub etc ask them for any of the old buckets that mayo etc comes in. They're 20l food grade and come with a lid.

Never thought of that man but i dont know anybody like that so ill have to fork out. Cheapest for 5 x 20litre buckets with lids is €45 on grow shop

I just asked one of the girls in the canteen at work, most places are happy for someone to take em off there hands, less rubbish for them to dump. Try homebrew shops too.

Hotels would be nearly better.ive worked in kitchens n they go through tubs of the stuff...but just call around to save time n say you're a builder if asked n u could do with a few of those tubs if they've any going boom u dont look like a weirdo walking into McDonald's asking if you can get a mc nugget n 5 big tubs for your setup...then wink knowingly.
