Guns? Who needs guns, take a page from the Iraqis. IEDs<US Military Armor.

Also keep in mind that our military is not like that of countries like Pakistan, they are not a wholly seperete entity. The second real martial law was declared and US soldiers were asked to use force against civilians, you would see a massive exodus of soldiers back into the civilian ranks, and something tells me they would bring their munitions with them.

if a soldier refuses an oder during time of war or in "martial law" they can be shot on the spot by a ranking officer.

LOL.. if I were you I'd be scared bout the Army having that brigade assigned to nation Oct. 1st.. I don't care if anyone calls me paranoid- why now? Seems they know something we don't and are preparing for civil unrest..

Lol this country needs some civil unrest, the government has to much control of us, and our personal freedoms. It is no longer a government run by the people, but rather the people run by the government. They are keeping the country poor, and full of uneducated individuals, to ensure that they don't lose there strangle hold on us!

I seriously doubt that. Combat soldiers have little respect for the American public at large and having had to shoot women and children as part of everyday stuff in Iraq, I doubt they'd have a problem following similar orders here. Be aware that these soldiers are professional and know how to shoot, if confronted, duck and cover and take head shots as their vests stop most civilian ammo. A good semi-auto assault rifle will take care of patrolling soldiers but if they bring out the bigger stuff, you're fucked. Remember, their ability goes all the way to nuclear.

Right. Historically Military has been used to do all kinds of fucked up shit. Take a look around, we're all at risk. It's a good thing to be prepared.

It would be easy for the powers to convince troops that certain groups of people are terrorists and unAmerican. I've been called a communist by brainwashed fools before for my beliefs. I pretty much agree with Ron Paul on just about everything. Some people may not agree with that, but it doesnt make me a communist. Its easy for these people to brainwash.

They are all brainwashed, I have no doubt in my mind, that if the government was to tell the military the "thin the crowd" that at least 95 % of those mindless drones would fire on just about anyone!
I've seen hippies, my aunt and uncle used to be hippies for that matter. All that hippies want is peace, and freedom. I would like to know what makes that wrong? If they don't feel the need to have fancy cars, cell phones, and all the other commercial shit that clutters up our lives, who are you , or the marines, or the government to say anything about it.
This country prides itself on being so free, but how free are we really?
I was looking at the world top 100 places to live, and if I remember correctly the US didn't have a city that made the top 10, possibly the top 50.(it was late, I was high)

This whole thing with the 700 billion dollars( of imaginary govt. money) is totally ridiculous. The banks, and the government have been robbing people of their hard earned money for years, and people have been going broke trying to survive. Now that the banks have screwed up and they are broke, the govt. wants to bail them out! BULLSHIT! This is supposed to be a govt. for the people. I'm sure you have all heard some one do the math, or have done it yourself, but if you divided that money among the legitimate citizens of this country over the age of 18, it would change this country around. Figure the govt. is gonna get 30 % of that back imediatly from the taxes, and then people will be able to use the rest to pay off the mortgages (WITH THE BANKS), and actually have money for college, cars, and to live all of which would greatly stimulate the US economy. If people are buying things, then there will be more jobs, more jobs means lower unemployment, and more money going back into the economy.
Just a thought, but I'm sick of living paycheck to paycheck, and building more dept. Not because I have a terible job, but its just not enough today, maybe it would have been 8 years ago!!
I wanna move to CANADA!
