Give me a few minutes, I'll be back soon with several new uploads...
Dude, you think its funny and are smiling.. that is malicious intent.Okay, only for you I will do some more macro's. Do you really think I want to make these boards bad? Why should I do that? And do not put me down like someone with malicious intent. If I had that, I'd let you buy the fake boards and laugh about it instead of enlightening you!
No I don't because I'm not a dick. Clearly you do...Malicious joy is always the best joy, or do you not laugh when a bird craps your neighbor's car and not yours?
How does one get a fake Arduino? Its both open source hardware and open source software. Only the name Arduino is licensed.I laugh because they all fall on the same scam, though the web is full of reports of fake supplies from China. If you have ever used the search engine or ask before you buy? If not, I have no pity!

But do not think that does not happen to me!
I already got some fakes from China because I made the same mistake (fake Arduinos is just one example). So basically, I also laugh about myself!
I have been here for several years and always try to help others and as I said, I asked a few days ago for a marco shot, to verify if they are true or fake so that not more people suffer damage!

Now you go too far, my friend! Do not insult me and do not call me a dick. I've done more for this forum than you think and just because you're in a bad mood, you do not have to offend me.No I don't because I'm not a dick. Clearly you do...
at what currents, though?Actually you lose a lot of efficiency moving up to the 302B. Their efficiency is ~140 L/W, while the 301B is ~220 L/W
Stop pretending nonsense! I will end the discussion with you here!Dude, you think its funny and are smiling.. that is malicious intent.
yes diode A8 i see the ESD or whatever you called it, so are we saying the size and shape looks different than his diodes, or just there's a visible black circle? and B7 looked different alsoSo, another 10 macro shots and as I said, every single diode looks the same!
I do not make fun of other people, I want to avoid others making the same mistake!
They look different in many aspects! The gold wires are visible and you can see a rectange in the middle. The housing looks also different. The ESD device is only one part.yes diode A8 i see the ESD or whatever you called it, so are we saying the size and shape looks different than his diodes, or just there's a visible black circle? and B7 looked different also
its OK i just think its hard to reach conclusion from looking at single diode. i am sure @chuckduck will see this thread tomorrow and inspect his boards a little more closely, he can reach conclusion himselfThey look different in many aspects! I've no bad intension, I only want to help others to not make a mistake and buy fake boards. But if you don't like to trust me, there is no need to do it.
I do not really care, because it's your money not mine ...
Which is why you keep laughing right?

how much do the F series strips cost?
Seemed like you LOL'd a couple posts in a row but then claimed to be looking out for fellow growers.
how many diode are the 2ft boards? The 2ft F-Series strips costs 10$/pcs when you take 25 strips and one is 12,50$.
LOL.Good to go. Just had to move some things around. RapidLED order is due to arrive today. Hoping to finish this tomorrow if I can get away with ignoring my wife for a while. We'll see how that goes.

You should check for yourself instead of all the conjecture which is mostly wrong, but you are free to wander in the dark. ask the supplier what they charged HLG instead of picking on the OP, you might be surprised what they paid for volume supply, just because you paid $75 means nothing to what HLG paid, you do NOT know, just making up stuff today. Not to keep this going but how much do you think HLG was paying for these boards from Jeff? 336 diode boards have about 10% more diodes than the 304's but from what I've read the PCB board has a lower copper content so the production cost for the 336 is likely lower than the 304 that was made for HLG. Do you think HLG was paying more than $35 per board plus shipping to turn around and retail them for $75? I'm not going to argue that some boards are fake but arguing that they are too cheap to be real doesn't make a whole lot of sense in this case. I can buy the diodes for less than 5 cents, I can buy 20,000 from digikey for 6 cents or email them with a larger quote number for an even better price. Lets just say at 5 cents a diode for a 336 board = $16.8. A low copper content pcb board $3. We're at less than $20 in parts. Selling these for $35/ea is a +75% markup. How in the world is it hard to believe that they can give us lm561c s6 diodes at a +75% markup?
