We were in the same place as you back in 1986. I recommend getting the wood chips out of there before adding coolant. Most materials don't expand when contacted by the coolant, wood does, and it can get into small spaces.
thanks theres a bunch of wood chips in there from blocking during shipping ill throw an extra screen on the coolant tray and hose it down and let it run. i got some dial indicators and touch-off probes was able to get my vises square this weekend and so i think its go time!

That's a nice space you have there.
thanks man. its been a lot of work to get where im at. the clones going into this space have stalled out and im getting a little frustrated. got backups on the way in case these tank. gonna dim my COBs down. i think they are too strong and they went into shock. this run will tell me for sure if im gonna build more COBs or buy a few DE fixtures to run at like 750w since i dont have high ceilings. currently about to test out this new square wave DE fixture and see how it does. im also trying to get a hold of their premade LED fixture and see how it does. i still think for the money a DIY cob array will perform quite well and you wont be spending money on bulbs anymore.

Was looking to diy two flower lights 5x5 looking for a good even spread saw the 30 pack 1212 any recommendations @CobKits
i think thats what i did iirc. snagged a 30 pack of 3-3500k cant remember and did one per sqft at about 37.5w each i think. going off memory. works great for flowering but its one heavy sumbitch and heatsinks get pricey at 1 per sqft lol.

they'll grow some donkey dicks for sure :) dont mind the circle, was trying to show someone a certain plant

If you cant dim them down enough try getting some LED floodlights and take the reflectors off. I find that the transition from these to COB's, my case QB's to be better.

@CobKits what driver do you recommend for 4 CLU048's up to 200W that is driver dimmable ?
I'd recommend the c1400B since you can dim it with external potentiometer.
yes soon im almost there hopefully just after christmas
Didnt you have a frame kit already that was in production...like a yr or so ago? Aluminum plate, square with an "x" grid pattern that held the driver and mount the cobs on the corners. You could join more than one frame together or something along those lines or am I thinking of someone else?
