Have you asked @Stephenj37826 when he will have the heat sinks back in stock?. Also id like to buy the pre tapped heatsinks from hlg but they are not available at the moment so any suggestions on heatsink would be appreciated. ive had all this stuff in my cart for a fews hours but have yet to pull the trigger.
This was posted on 2 days ago. So check back tomorrow.Heatsinks for QB 304 and QB288 on Friday
Im looking to buy 6 qb288 and 3 hlg-240h-c2100b to run them with dimmers on each driver. This would be my first build to replace my 1k. I think from what information ive gathered that would allow me to run these over 100 watts each if i wanted. Nice. Is that Pineapple Express #2? I got some seeds but we are just getting started. The flowering supposedly is super short at 45 to 50 days with really good yields. have you found that to be true?View attachment 4047108 View attachment 4047104 View attachment 4047106 View attachment 4047107
G13 Pineapple Express 35F
Sharing ~2x4 space with another plant under 3 QB288s @ 1750 ~ 20" from the plants top
You will love the simplicity of it all - kits are ready to run . 2 board builds CAN run a 3x3 without issue. Some BAG BEANS can actually grow some stout Sativas if allowed to actually grow and cure. Most of that street swag is not fully matured or worse .... compressed cured for quick sale ..... Hasd some mexi red that was pretty good - kinda harsh smoke but strong. .Nice buds! Never tried an auto except smoking some. Grew up with ditch weed everywhere if you knew what it was. Gave me the willies I guess.
When you see good two builders get together and ditch wonderful COBs for Quantum Boards, well that speaks real loud! A board or two is in my future.
Seagrow is good stuff -- and very affordable.I have some plants that were hit with water with high ph, I thought it had done serious damage. But they have not only recovered, they are building some damned fine bud! I decided that the best course of action was to water with some organic nutrient, so I made a solution of Grow More Seagrow ( I believe Doctor Earth is re-branded Grow More products ), ppm'd to 700 ppms. They went from mostly yellow to nicely green! I didn't think the foliage would recover!
you can see the ph damage still but the plants are doing fine!

Just a freebie seed, G13 is the breeder.Nice. Is that Pineapple Express #2? I got some seeds but we are just getting started. The flowering supposedly is super short at 45 to 50 days with really good yields. have you found that to be true?
If the waiting time is too long, just build them yourself. An aluminum sheet and a few c-channels are all you need.Im looking to buy 6 qb288 and 3 hlg-240h-c2100b to run them with dimmers on each driver. This would be my first build to replace my 1k. That's nonsense from naysayers! So I hear complaints from HIDers about the less wattage used reducing yields as a reason for not liking QB, but couldnt you just use the same wattage? I dont get it.
You can get the same yields with less Watts too, but it does require an adjustment in one's methods. The inflexible would always rather complain than learn something. So I hear complaints from HIDers about the less wattage used reducing yields as a reason for not liking QB, but couldnt you just use the same wattage?
