but i gotta say running 6 x 250w panels @ 100w each only needs a bit of air on it to stay really cool and really covers a 4 x 4
or 5 x 5 area well..also i can get really close..
even if the heatsinks work well i just dunno ..after growing with these things the 6 x 6" x 22" panels per frame seem dang good..

Correct....The sun is around 4100 I understand..I run 5000k and 3000k in veg and flower. I get plenty of dead leaves at the end. I was told cannabis folks are backwards regarding light spectrum going with 3000k over 5000k. The two mixed together is termed natural daylight.
You guys have to remember that "sunlight" changes colour throughout the day, at different latitudes and altitudes, and at different times of the year. Light is redder near the tropics due to the thicker atmosphere around the equator, and bluer in low ozone highland areas where the atmosphere is thinner. It's also redder in autumn and winter - again due to the sun's angle having to penetrate thicker atmosphere. Plants flower in autumn, when overall sunlight is at a lower kelvin temperature relative to summer.This may not be 100% accurate, but being by Canon, I would expect it to be close. Their diagram says 4,800K for direct sunlight.
