What is a dimagnetic field?

I know what a diamagnetic material is, it's a material with no magnetic moment on its own but can pick up a magnetic moment when placed in a magnetic field.

but this isn't the same as dimagnetic field. What is that?

that's not how it works. If you break the valve off a cylinder of compressed gas, the gas cylinder will take off like a rocket. The cylinder would accelerate regardless of ambient air pressure.

warning: do not try this at home
