Right!? Like how the fuck are you trying to spin kids against the KKK and self-identified neo-nazis are the same as the KKK and neo-nazis? That's like saying the Freedom Riders were no different than the KKK in the early 60s.

Rob Roy is stuck in a loop. In every thread he puts up his shitty arguments, gets defeated logically, he gradually gets more and more vague and cryptic, then he claims victory and disappears.
He was spouting this same misunderstanding about how our society evolved (for some value of), his place within it and the options he has now in another (much inferior) weed site forum long before I even joined here. Broken record. It's like listening to The Good Ship Lollipop over and over and over.

And? You really think the founding fathers thought there would be no advancements in weaponry? That has always been the goal. A better gun.

The Girandoni air rifle was invented 12 years before the bill of rights. It held 20 rounds and was gravity fed and was effective out to 125 yards.

Soldiers that used muskets eventually premeasured powder and made their shots up before a fight. The whole goal was more rounds per minute.

I won't go to the extreme of saying that citizens should be able to own the same as the government.

I believe a competent person should be able to own ar's and the like. They are just a variant of a hunting rifle.

For the bump stock, I see no need in them. Ban them or at least make them NFA item. Same with a suppressor. Keep it an NFA item.

Full automatics have remained legal with the right license. I'm fine with that. Thouse guns are so expensive that they stay in collections.

This is a horrible incident. In the big picture pistols kill way more people.

You want those banned too?
I was only pointing out that his history was wrong.

Frankly, I seriously don't the framers of the Constitution had any idea what would happen with firearms in the centuries to come.

It's been suggested that the right to keep and best arms had as much to do with keeping the upper hand against slaves as it did for keeping government in line. I don't know about that.

I don't want pistols banned, nor long guns for hunting or sport. Banning the bump stock will only last until someone has a design for one that can be 3D printed.

I don't have specific gun law suggestions.

I think the problem has a lot more to do with the current pressures on American society, but of course that doesn't explain a rich guy shooting up a country music festival in Vegas, either.

More bans or tougher penalties aren't going to stop people who are willing to die in the act of mass murder.

I wish you were with me, but I don't believe you are a classical liberal, even at best. I don't know much about antifa to be honest, they seem incoherent to me. I am most definitely not communist. I believe in the third way. Common goods, like water and air, belong to all of us. The free and fair market is the best way to economic success. All citizens deserve protection of the law, due process, and equal rights.
Free markets aren't fair, that much has been proven well enough in the last half century.

Regulations exist to outlaw bad behavior and should encourage a level playing field- though of course today's regulations don't do this worth a damn.

You can print an entire gun minus any metal components, bump stock wouldn't be an issue.

Printed in ABS or Nylon and they'd be factory strong aswell.

Free trade is only free if it is fair aka a level playing field. Agree?
Who's going to make fair trade? The government controls your free trade it's not exactly free trade which is why big business is paying off Congress.

Not just college kids professors too along with old timer Communist groups back from the beginning of the Cold War like the guy who killed Kennedy.

Why did you register your kids with the Govt (at birth) and send them to public schools?
I was asleep then , like you are now.

Why do you think continuing to believe in two opposing things at once can be a substitute for knowledge ?

I'm afraid you are confused. I don't think you know what a free market is and proceed from there to draw erroneous conclusions, assigning the ills of centralization and cronyism to "free market". .

Regulations often exist to consolidate power in the hands of the few and further they PREVENT a level playing field.

Well were they claimed by their parents? Let's start there. Does that matter to you?

Then:

Once you become a legal adult, you have the right to revoke your citizenship, do you not?

That's an obtuse and less than complete point. The point is, do you have a right to affirm your "citizenship" or is it something others do whether you consent or not ?

If the state as an organization and it's just "the people" how can it have any more right than any single person ? It is impossible to aggregate a bunch of zeros into a positive sum isn't it?

Lol, you're trying to use Math to justify your bullshit.

"Well 7 + 12 cannot equal 4, so therefore FREEDOMZ FROM CIVIL RIGHT ACT!"

I am not worried about the competent citizen.

How does passing a law which consolidates gun ownersh

"Well 7 + 12 cannot equal 4, so therefore FREEDOMZ FROM CIVIL RIGHT ACT!"

Actually the equation goes more like 0 + 0 + 0 etc. = 0

Even if I allowed you to avoid the certainty of my logic and the mathematical proof you still can't escape the fact you are believing in two opposing things at once.

On the one hand you would agree that a person has no right to enslave another person or force somebody into an association using or threatening offensive force for failure to comply... but then you flip and advocate that a neutral person somehow MUST associate with somebody else, not because the neutral person consents to it, instead because another party or parties has insisted on it.. That is the definition of slavery. Claiming the right to create a force association with an unwilling neutral party.

Your argument is internal and your beliefs are inconsistent.

Admittedly, I haven't read all the posts in this thread, but this strikes me as a strawman. Has anyone here (specifically SneekyNinja) unequivocally agreed with the statement you've made above?

Well, that was convenient to “be asleep then” and take advantage of tax payer funded education for your kids, and then suddenly awaken when you no longer have a use for publicly funded education!

Merely a coincidence?

Are you asleep when you file taxes each year ? Do tell how you file and who do you claim ? Are you proud when you have to write those SS numbers, that were assigned to you by the United States government ? You are a very good slave. You might try to kick up a little ruckus every now and then, but for the most part you are very obedient.
