You could start by taking over San Francisco.
 
I'm serious. It already has a high populous of your movement. There are enough people in your movement that if you all move there you could literally take over the entire city. The government police force everything.Then you could declare it your own micro state. Once you are established you could take over another city. You guys are going to have to think big and bold.

This was not taken out of context at all. Your contention that if everybody would just stop talking about racism it would partly correct it is in itself a racist statement. Not unexpected from soft white liberals like you. Also so much the Sanders supporters' way.
 
I didn't read all the pages in this thread but enough I hope to make a decent comment on it all.

When I grew up in my predominately, (no brown or black people at all), town we used to use the "N" word without any real thought of how it related to race.

I never really thought about how the change came about but it did.

It was never an issue but as I've grown and matured I've realized it's still not an issue unless one makes it an issue.

Unfortunately, so many people do.

I find that I'm much more prejudiced against large people these days. WTF?

What did you mean by it? I really don't think you think that. Should we just stop talking about wealth inequality to make it go away? It makes no sense. We have to confront reality, not run from it.
 
I just shake my head at how easily we reduce all the nuanced differences and individuality to simple words like white or black people.
Asif they are a group acting in unity and agreement.

Many times I will see people using language like" the white people did x, or blacks do y" While the correct language that some people who were white or some people who may happen to be black does Y.

Did you know there is a genetic bias towards racism? (for everyone)
I saw reports of a study that concluded something along the line of we are programmed to be more likely to risk harm, to save a stranger that looks like ourselves as there is a chance that we share genetic material. DNA is a bastard.

That was a response to yet another pseudo economics expert.

Of course I think wealth inequality is a pressing problem economically and socially- and a grave danger to democracy in America going forward.

It's why I advocate for higher taxes on corporate and investment income.
