Trump states "Both sides are to blame" for Charlottesville

True but my believe about america have nothing to do with him. America started going down hill at the end of ww2, and after 911 (Bush) it was lost.
The war on terror and the war on drugs seem to have been an invitation for more of the same. And still the politicians haven't learned. Or perhaps they don't want to or don't care. Probably the latter.

The really sad part about all of this is that many people will/do judge Americans based upon their current leader. Many people around the world will think that "This must be what America wants because they voted for him." Trump might have the ability to make money - although that is questionable - but he just doesn't know how to be a President. He doesn't think about how his words and actions reflect upon the ordinary citizen of the country he is supposed to be leading.
History will tell the true story but by then the damage will have been done. The next President has an almighty task ahead of him/her before they've even been elected or nominated. An important part of being President is to leave the country in a better state than when they took over the job. By that measure Trump has already failed......unless he can pull something magical out of his ass......
Well- can you blame people for thinking that?

He WAS elected President of a (marginally) Democratic country, after all.

The government and its approved contractor list make money- or take more power- every time they declare war on something.

The cost in dollars, lives and lost opportunities matters not at all to those already in power, because the chains of accountability have been broken for decades now.

Cheney....Halliburton....Blackwater......they're all just ways to pass taxpayers money to the rich. Cheney and Bush should be in prison sharing a cell with Blair....or Bliar as we call him.

It takes planning, savvy and a serious front person with a tight core of dedicated people behind. The money comes later. But you don't dare make a last minute decision and decide to run for President.
I'm 67, I know it's expensive. It's needlessly, uselessly too expensive; politics has become a cottage industry solely to generate income for parasites. It's a self-feeding model because it's allowed to be.
but it shouldnt be expensive.

this should be done on platform and grassroots donation.

people OVER profit now.

Trump finally made everyone look.

those that stayed home 2016, will not in 2020..oh hellllllllll no!

im still thinking we had to have trump to throw some cold water on faces. if hillary had succeeded we would have had 8 more years of elite. with trump we dont have this, we've broken away..a high price but its been done, NOW what do we do with?

In short :
You hoped for the country to get fucked up to shit very quickly, so we would be forced to elect Bernie.

I think in politics - as in many other things - every action has a reaction. For that reaction to happen it usually requires a strong action, or cumulative effect of actions to build up. People generally don't react much to middle of the road stuff. For example, low levels of crime. If crime levels are low people kind of just ignore it. If crime suddenly increases massively then you get a strong reaction and calls for something to be done. Often things need to be bad before things change. I think that's what is happening with US and UK politics.

Perhaps you could show us all how it could have been done any other, less painful way?

This is my point exactly.

So why did Justice Democrats register with the FEC to collect unlimited donations from individuals and Corporations if they want to take big money out of politics?

Everything else you Justice Democrats say is completely unreliable horseshit until you address this point.

You would be an authority on horseshit, to be sure.

Justice Democrats don't represent the whole Movement, any more than Nancy Pelosi represents the entire Democratic Party.

Your logic is strictly amateurish.

Lol...

So your Justice Democrats that you praise so often don't at all represent the movement?

Why do you think they registered to receive big Corporate money?

I didn't say that and you know it.

Your entire approach is dishonest and as such it isn't worth my time to engage with you.

His approach is exactly on point. The hypocrisy of on one hand villifying anybody who legally accepts PAC support and in the same instant applying for PAC status that enables legally supporting the chosen ones is the whole point of his question.

That you and pad cowardly hide whenever the question is asked is answer enough.
