Blurple is yer problem, swap your blurple leds for white cobs, I did a unit just like yours a while ago;
Dang, thanks for he tip! I posted those pictures proudly, thought the 600 watter did a good job. I'll definitely be looking into that though.Blurple is yer problem, swap your blurple leds for white cobs, I did a unit just like yours a while ago;
looks good 280 grams from 320 watts of input power is not bad at all.you clearly have a good but expensive light.I would not scrap it for another home made light. if you want to play around with your lights you may try adding a UVA plus bulb to the mix to see if it improves taste and potency http://www.ebay.com/itm/T5-BULBS-T5HO-HIGH-OUTPUT-FLUORESCENT-LAMP-2-4-ft-GROW-BLOOM-UV-1-4-8-25-packs/160895821950?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&var=460130683601&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 but you have a grow you should be proud of.seems if white LEDs were as good as the COB crowd claims then all the high end LED makers would be using them and I think BLM has a better R@D department than some stoner making lights in his garage.if you do want to do a test grow with white LEDs than 561 based strip lights are cheaper and more efficient than COBs and can be run at up to 900ma without a heat sink. these use the same diodes that are being used in quantum board and some LED grow lights and provide more uniform coverage (no hot spots) https://www.digikey.com/products/en?s=55345&v=976. you had a good grow there do your homework before trying to improve it
Yeah, that's right - all of you cob led company owners are just stoners making lights in your garage.seems if white LEDs were as good as the COB crowd claims then all the high end LED makers would be using them and I think BLM has a better R@D department than some stoner making lights in his garage
be proud. those buds look great and 280g from 320w (.875gpw) is not bad, especially from just a single plant.. if you did want to improve the spydr though, you could just run it dimmed down and add 3000K or 3500K led strips (like bridgelux eb-series or samsung h-series) in between / outside the blurple bars for fuller spectrum and better efficiency.. or add a couple cobs.. or a couple quantum boards...Dang, thanks for he tip! I posted those pictures proudly, thought the 600 watter did a good job. I'll definitely be looking into that though.
Your joking right? Those buds are super dank! 10 zips on 300 watts, you killed it!!!! Nice work!!!Dang, thanks for he tip! I posted those pictures proudly, thought the 600 watter did a good job. I'll definitely be looking into that though.
The draw at the wall is 300 I assume, the 600 is a marketing gimmick used by blurple Co claiming 600w equivalent of HID.Was it 600 or 300 watts ? i must have missed something
like all leds the advertised power (600) is the maximum power the diodes are rated for but the actual power is advertised at 320 watts. same as with eBay led grow lights where a 300 watt light actually draws 130 watts.with LED makers you need to learn to ignore 95% of what they claim and translate the rest into realityWas it 600 or 300 watts ? i must have missed something
Generalize much?like all leds the advertised power (600) is the maximum power the diodes are . . .
Cut all that stem outta there and then weigh it again.
Red/white combo is more efficient than white only.Yeah, that's right - all of you cob led company owners are just stoners making lights in your garage.
Light another fatty, losers.
Lol I did that was a picture I took while I was trimming it up.Cut all that stem outta there and then weigh it again.
