no, i like to work hard but not be penalized for it, i dotn want to pay for the future problems of the planet, or immagration or green schemes. i want to live in a giant house, see coal fired power plants, never see a electric car charging station and emit to my hearts content.
wow, you are emotional as fuck. calm down you blubbering baby.

i know eh.......

i dont get you green pussys.......

what do you do for work?

work in a national park?
Yeah, free passive (well it's "active" but involves no effort) energy production is for idiots, amirite?

Btw, electric is starting to beat ICE in speed, torque, acceleration, and braking due to how electric motors fundamentally work and batteries keep getting more and more energy dense.

Motorcycles are different but also far more efficient than cars either way.

but storing the electricty is less efficient and more costly and the batteries cause more pollutions and are costly to replace,

yeah the car gets 400km to a charge when it hits -30c it gets cut in 2/3 the design is made for the man bun climates like cali, not cold climates.......
i cant wait to see tesla fail...... then well be a ways away from electric again

You only store the excess, dumbass. And modern 18650s are about 90% efficient.

And if you want to talk thermodynamics; you want to get into the energy required to drill, refine and transport oil?

Also, lots of European car manufacturers are giving up production on non electric cars by 2040...you're on the wrong side of history.

typical lefty deflect answers/trail off.......

we're not a huge european car purchaser.....

tesla is starting line production of a car that starts at 30,000.00 or soemthign around there, it will be the cheapest production electric....

and transporting oil......

what do you think the pipes that provide your plumbing to your home are made of?

your yoga mat and yoga shoes

The measure of civilization is in how we care for thoze who cant care for themselves. Otherwise we are just animals.

But even most animals care for those in the group that cant care for themselves.

So if we dont look after our own then we are worse then animals.

And you, good sir, seem to be worse than an animal...

Dumber, thats for sure.

im tired of the gushy feel good politicians. hence why i envy trump

Dinosaurs lived a carbon neutral life and were around for about 120 million years.
Homo Sapiens has been around for 200,000 years and were carbon neutral for 199,800 years during which time we became a wildly successful species. Homo Sapiens var industrialis has been around for 200 years and it's not clear we will survive the next 100.

Carbon neutral sounds like a good bet.
Steven Hawkins gives us 1,000 years. If someone can't get on the climate change bandwagon, I suggest they pack up their kit and march over to the world overpopulation movement, an easily grasped concept that leads to the same end.

All misinformation that you refuse to question. New batteries are covered under warranty and have a longer life expectancy than the car itself. The pollution to create the batteries isn't that much more than a regular motor, and throughout it's life it will pollute a lot less than a conventional car. IIRC, 40,000 miles is the break even point on pollution, and new batteries will go 300,000 miles.

Batteries get cheaper the older the car. From $300-$1000.

The hybrid idea is pretty cool, a gas motor charges the battery so you never have to plug in if you don't want to, and the battery and motor share the work. Essentially, you just use less gas, what's the downside?

Some companies were testing fully electric drive systems with a gas powered motor to power the electric system but it seems it's far easier and more reliable to have a plug-in... less potential points of failure.
