Or he could resign as part of a deal to keep his financial empire intact, and away from gov't. seizure.

You can't pardon your assets. A pardon also does not affect civil cases.

The republicans privately would rather have Pence in there. That movement grows with every tweet.
True that. But i don't see him leaving without a red carpet, a marine corp salute, and a cheering crowd. They'd have to work that in.

As for pence, he is the one person trump can't fire. But, he can humiliate him. And after the times article saying pence is planning a 2020 run, he probably will.

Doesn't matter. They are little bitches. You can slap them around and they won't do a damn thing.

This republican congress isn't going to pass anything that moves significantly against trump. Sure, they will make speeches, and stand in front of camera's, and give background off the record comments, but the congress won't act. Not passing the death of healthcare wasn't done to hurt trump. It was done to not hurt the republicans.

It hasn't acted to date. Not during the primary. Not during the election. Not now. It won't in the future.

You guys listen to too much fox news. The republicans won't hurt their own president. It isn't going to happen.
Little bitches who's votes are INTEGRAL.

Cool.

That is the murkiest path however. Legal pundits seem divided over whether a state suit could proceed against a pres in office. But knowing he could get locked up after office is very uplifting.

Seperate question. What would the risks be of a former (or current) POTUS fleeing the country and taking up residence in a no-extradite country? Or even Russia. With laptops full of data.

Imagine air force one landing in moscow and trump announcing he would be staying. Now that would be a shitestorm.
You're an armchair attorney, bro.

Well it's out that Pence has, and the Trump response was 'fake news' then attack the newspaper that printed the story.

Trump Is a Marked Man
Potential primary challenges to the president in 2020 could be a sign of doom for him—and his party.

What makes Trump’s low approval especially striking is that it comes at a time of relative stability. There is no recession or economic crisis holding down his numbers, nor is there a large-scale conflict that has negatively captured the public’s attention like the Iraq War in the final years of George W. Bush’s administration. Under these conditions, the president’s approval should be stable; and yet, it is falling with little sign of improvement. Even with a new chief of staff to manage dysfunction in the White House, Trump is still an ignorant president with little interest in the hard work of governing and an obsession with public image that has compromised his ability to avoid scandal or controversy. When faced with an actual crisis, Trump’s approval may go lower. The nadirs of the Nixon administration (24 percent approval in summer 1974) and the second Bush administration (25 percent in the fall of 2008 ) aren’t out of question.

'He's senile, bereft of reason and only absolute force will work on him'
I was with him up to the "only absolute force will work on him" part. If he's senile and bereft of reason (and he does appear to be, in fact), then shouldn't partial force be enough on him? Why do statements coming out of NK sound like they were taken from bad action film scripts?

Found this twitter post on Justice Democrats web site. I'm a bit uneasy about the cartoon image of Kim Jong Il. It's reminiscent of the japanese cartoons from WW2. The stereotypical buck teeth especially resonates with racist overtones. Maybe I'm being touchy and looking for something to dislike about JD based upon what I know of our entitled white Sandernistas but thought I'd post this to see what others think. I've been through most of the stuff posted at Justice Democrats site and it's OK. Except for this.

Damn, that's a tough call. I give it a pass. I think that is just his bottom lip and not buck teeth. It's somewhat similar to the rendition of Trump's mouth. Just the fact that you're questioning it makes you an evolved human being in my book. I try to watch out too.

It does look more like an earlier, fatter Margaret Cho than Kim Jong-un, however. That was most likely a racist observation.
