i get where you are coming from, the club sounds interesting.
but i also get where the people in the thread, have questions... concerns about how to join or what the process is.

are you saying if they came to g3c they would get all the rules there? the rules arent printed up anywhere else except in person?

fair enough. its easier to say that then to be short with people. even if they were being short in the first place.

You are catching on & there is no concerns only people who don't want to accept the way the club is run. It's really easy have card, Id and 20$ yearly membership fee and your all set.

@DirtyEyeball696 I used to come up to the clubhouse to meet up with growers/friends from around the state, smoke out and spend the day shooting the shit. I knew most of the regular vendors at that time (to include yourself) and they would often join in.

Sadly many of those founding individual vendors have split ways with GC3 now. Is there a new clique up there today that would lack respect for my friends and I renewing our membership?

No there isn't the owners are on top of everything but are often battered by this request or that request so they went to a different way for everyone to get a chance to get a table. You can hang out and smoke no problem there are plenty of tables and plenty of amenities for everyone. There is a new croud working tho but are not aloud to throw their weight around to everyone like they kinda did before. You would enjoy it maybe let me know when your headed up and I'll stop up and smoke with ya and show ya around. But nobody would disrespect you up there.

That's good to hear, as I hope to make a trip up this week to give the new clubhouse a look see. I'm not at all about the commerce personally, I just have a passion for growing growers and enjoy the company of fellow growers.

Whats the story with the GC3 owners/board these days? I assume there will be some personal conflicts soon as dispensaries attempt to transition into the new MMFLA scheme no?

I can't say a dispensary will ever offer cheaper or quality, not to say it's all quality but I couldn't see how it would affect us in a negative manner. If anything it will bring more people to us who don't want to share personal information with state run dispensaries and pay a higher price for their meds. Just glad I got into this in 09 instead of getting into it now

I was thinking more about the conflict of ownership in current dispensaries as well as G3C as it relates to the upcoming application requirements of a facility license under MMFLA. I'm assuming the MMFLA state board will force a degree of separation, as it is designed to do with our current MMMA caregivers.

I'm sure if it was an issue they wouldn't of done all that work for nothing. But I do know they have the best attorneys in the state. I do know that the new law and the medical law passed in 08 are totally separate. The new seed to sale law that takes place in December does not conflict with the current medical marijuana law so I wouldn't be worried much.

Yeah it's really hard to make even an educated guess as to how this will all shake out into 2018. A lot of the rules have yet to be set by the newly minted MMFLA board. I'm only assuming most of our current dispensaries (not covered under MMMA) and their associated growers and extractors will become MMFLA applicants at the end of the year. That "legal" dynamic will fundamentally change a lot of relationships in this self regulated mmj market we've become to know over the past decade. Although, I think it's pretty safe to assume there will be many unintended consequences

I guess the state said we're gonna make some money cause pretty soon it's gonna be legal anyway and then look at the people that will come out of the closet. Up to 2k for an application and be bonded for 100k naw I'll stick to my patients. EVERYTHING will be tracked from seed to sale. Imagine what the dispensaries are gonna charge to makeup for the taxes they are gonna have to pay. Making us little guys even more valuable and the price stays steady. Because quality counts these days and pot just isn't pot like a lot like to think.

That situation there is sure to be interesting. Assuming we get rec...that new place does resemble what i imagine a social canna bar looking like. Haha...maybe place some bong apparatus/rigs on each table and bam..its complete.

The reason is we had people sleeping in the parking lot to get a spot which is technically vagrancy. So interested of hearing that I slept in the parking lot for two days and I'm first on the list type shit it changed. You wouldn't under the popularity of the place. Considering there is no place like it on earth

Well, here is something i think alot of folks are not taking into account. When these mmfla licenses are issued, and they begin to gain control of all of these dispensarys that are just all over the place, where does all of that product go that has been flowing into the dispemsary market, from various caregivers and other sources, since they no lomger have that outlet? I would assume, itll be all over, further adding to the markets saturation, both medical and recreational users, causing a large dip in the avg price across the board. This is all assuming they do manage to gain control of the market, and all of the numerous outlets. ..just food for thought.

For one medical and seed to sale are totally separate and other thing pot is only gaining popularity not waining out in limbo so people will come out in droves. The problem your gonna find is people who couldn't produce quality meaning no pesticide bugs etc are gonna be big fans of the state paying their big fees. Another thing, nobody is going to want to go to these expensive stores, the price WILL go up. Only the ones with crap weed and desperate for any price will suffer

If they are supplying storefronts they are doing business illegally. Nowhere in the law does it say dispensaries are legal. Nowhere show me if there is. Everyone said in Michigan that cali and Colorado are doin it so can we. Wrong. assumptions only get you to where they are today. Most closed down Because they are illegal. Just because another state is doing it doesn't make it right legally here in Michigan. Your seeing everyday raids etc. they don't raid you for following the law doesn't work that way. Your right we prolly will see the average joe with his equipment online for sale. Don't become compliant get your ass raided. Do you know anyone that can afford a 100k bond? The state was very smart coming up with their fee system. They know what's coming next but with all the conspiracy theorists going around and all the lawyers taking your money to tell you what's legal it will be a mess for some. And nobody seen this coming? It is sad that nobody wants to read and understand our medical law they are more interested in starting a shop where one person takes all the money.. hmmmmm boy were they mistaken. That one word.
