Damn, right! What's good enough for the incestuous pedo, is good for us, dammit! Why? I was merely asking.
I mean our President is allowed to grab women by the pussy, why can't I ask to reveal my tiny private parts?

You mean canna butter? What, no crazy butter?
Sadly, I'm the front line of my company and commissioned. Everyone else out here DEMANDS payment up front. DEMANDS. Uitilities etc are Net 30, you don't pay? You just get shut down remotely. I need oral surgery..my portion AFTER dental insurance is estimated $600. No one lets you 30-60 to break it up..sure just let me pull it out of my ass.Tech has gone through many, many, downsizings not directly related to the overall economy. Mostly it happens due to piss poor management or some change in manufacturing or productivity (moving engineering to other countries for example).
Microsoft has been long overdue for a major correction, but this is far from their first round. Big tech companies end up with too many of one skill and not enough of another, and they aren't transferable.
While I don't disagree with anyone on the direction of the economy, the MS move isn't really a harbinger of anything except high tech moving bodies around.
High tech sharecropping ain't what it used to be.
As for not getting paid, it's the new trump management style being adopted. Never stop negotiating; never pay what you agree to pay; never pay on time; sue anyone who complains.
But that's not what Microsoft is saying..is it?The two product lines they've focused a massive amount of time and money into aren't performing, hence they're cutting staff.
No big Bernout conspiracy, put your retard-pistols away.
It has nothing to do with my company..we invoice as a courtesy with contractual obligation..as a result no one gets paid.Life is full of trade offs. No respect, and you should go elsewhere. Sometimes hard to do.
But it is what anyone with knowledge of the tech industry knows. But that's not what Microsoft is saying..is it?
Not everyone has this knowledge. But it is what anyone with knowledge of the tech industry knows.
Do you do any research before you mash "Post Thread" or is it purely attention seeking?
As I've told you several times, they invested heavily into their phone and tablet offerings, they even changed the PC version of Windows to be more cross platform compatible and it's basically fallen flat on its face...no market penetration. Not everyone has this knowledge.
A layoff is revenue motivated..how have their distributions for shareholders doing these days?
Didn't they have a HUGE earnings <loss> Q1?
Microsoft could absorb most of those resources if they had a need for them. More likely the green light to bolt overseas is what they are looking at. Cheaper labor and hidden profits, and without gates running the ship the course is changing. But it is what anyone with knowledge of the tech industry knows.

They're saying it's for a different reason- aka LYING.As I've told you several times, they invested heavily into their phone and tablet offerings, they even changed the PC version of Windows to be more cross platform compatible and it's basically fallen flat on its face...no market penetration.
Most of the layoffs are occurring outside the USA, according to the press release.Microsoft could absorb most of those resources if they had a need for them. Like it or not, a huge chunk of talent is retiring. And they aren't being replaced in this country. State colleges especially have decided that science and research isn't worth investing in. So we aren't producing great engineers in the quantity we once did. I see it everyday when we try to hire people. They have all kinds of certifications but no knowledge or experience. They don't learn quickly. They were never taught to actually think.
So this action from MS may have nothing to do with product investment and more to do with restructuring for a new offshore workforce. It's happened at countless other tech companies. MS was just slow to the game.
But not mentioned in the release is they will be increasing contractors. It's a move from employee to contractor. There will still be a lot of US jobs lost. You don't see them because of attrition. People leave or retire or are fired. They don't get replaced. Still a job loss. Just not a layoff. Most of the layoffs are occurring outside the USA, according to the press release.
It's all part of one big fucked up pie though, the Surface and Windows Phone are about as popular as a fart in a space suit.Microsoft could absorb most of those resources if they had a need for them. I see. Why would we not see job declines from attrtion? Presumably they publish employee numbers in 10K filing? But not mentioned in the release is they will be increasing contractors. Our economy is already fucked the only reason we are pushing American imperialism across the world. Gadaffi was in the process of creating a gold backed currency Saddam tried to only accept Euros so we killed them both. Our economy is beyond repair we can never pay back our debt so we must have war.If everyone did it, this would be the end of our economy. Therefore, no one must be allowed to do it.
The breaking of the employee/employer compact has done nothing but bad things to our country.
