is the system currently turning away people who do not have insurance? you keep talking about the lack of choices with the government insisting everyone purchase something and i am talking about a bigger picture -- the government telling us WTP what we need and the consequences of that. i said the family should make their own decision for what is best for them.
So, then, because you repeated your belief that "a family should make their own decision for what is best for them." when it comes to health care coverage. This only makes sense when health care choices are affordable to a family.

Given that the median income in the US is $35,000, how can the average wage earner afford to pay $15,000 for the healthcare they decided was best for their family?

Qatar isn't a different sect.
Iran uses the Muslim Brotherhood as a proxy. Iran follows Sharia Islam while Egypt and Qatar follow Sunni. it would make sense Qatar would align with Egypt and Saudi Arabia. i'm sorry, what do you mean a different sect? i will admit i could have my sunni and sharia mixed up.

So if they get care whether they buy insurance or not, WHY BOTHER BUYING IT?

And that care isn't free; who's paying for it?
that's how the system is right now before the government telling everyone to buy it. my son can't afford the requirements of Obamacare and each year has paid the penalty. how is that helping?

Who has fallen for the propaganda? Planned parenthood provides mostly healthcare services to women other than abortion.

This from FactCheck.org

Abortions accounted for 3 percent of the nearly 10.6 million total services provided by Planned Parenthood clinics in 2013, according to its annual report.

Some services it provided in addition to abortions were:

  • 4.5 million tests and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
  • 3.6 million contraception related services
  • 935,573 cancer screenings including breast exams and Pap tests
  • 1.1 million pregnancy tests and prenatal services
Now, before you very conveniently wave your hand about the "lying media" that your guy Trump keeps talking about, the above are facts. Remember that facts can be verified while a belief can be whatever you like. Please reply back with facts and not your belief.

Cafeteria Christians would rather build a mega church and defend their pedophile pastor in a lawsuit than give a dime to the undeserving poor.
those services you quoted have already been addressed by PP themselves stating that ObamaCare has forced more of their customers onto medicaid and therefore those services are being provided elsewhere and the majority of the business is abortion. the company can continue to exist (if you're down with them existing in predominately black neighborhoods--i'm not) but it can do so without taxpayer funded money.

for the Last Time - Trump is not my guy.

Egypt and Saudi Arabia are two leading nations who started the blockade against Qatar. This has no sectarian angle; it's all about the politics and the news coverage.

Link, please. I'd like to see the facts, not your babble.

Trump is very much your guy. Cafeteria Christians should listen to themselves sometimes.

this most definitely does and it is all about the politics. Qatar is where the spiritual head of the Muslim Brotherhood - Qaradawi originates. the Middle East is getting ready to explode. there is a deeper rift right now being resolved between Shiite/Suffi/Sunni versus Wahabbi in Saudi Arabia and these are the beginnings of that

Thanks @undercovergrow for your jewel of illogic:

"A fact doesn't have to be true for it to be believed"

Oh yes. I think I'll just keep this in my signature. It's just too perfect as summing up the reactionary right's belief system. And now, given your recent fact free tirade, I don't have to be bothered by the idea that you don't want me to be quoting your name with that idiotic statement everywhere I post on this forum.

But please, don't do botox treatments even if they come "free" with your healthcare plan. People who do that look more like the walking dead than real people.

if you cannot understand a simple concept of Trump not being "my guy" then why would I bother to engage with you. do you ever listen to yourself?

i don't know...it doesn't really bother me but it is a little interesting to see i've gotten under your skin enough for you to take a statement of mine that has been further expounded upon and added it as your signature. go right ahead bongsmilie

Link please to where you obtained your quotes about Planned Parenthood. I can't trust your beliefs, you need to provide facts.

No, I treasure the phrase. It's such a perfect explanation for the crap you and yours speak.

Link please, where are the facts to bolster your claim that PP performs no other services than abortions.

And please answer the question that I posed back to you from your shoulding on poor people regarding paying for healthcare.

So, then, because you repeated your belief that "a family should make their own decision for what is best for them." when it comes to health care coverage. This only makes sense when health care choices are affordable to a family.

you are trusting the report that PP puts out regarding their company practices as gospel. i'll not get into a debate with you regarding that topic because you don't debate. taxpayer money should not be provided to the company. i'll leave it at that. i have answered that question and i have also mentioned that i know people who cannot afford to pay for healthcare now and couldn't before the law was enacted; however, they do now have a penalty they are forced to pay each year. since you cannot see that i understand there is a serious problem in our country regarding healthcare and just want to ... i'm not really sure what it is you are doing ...

I am just asking for a link to show the facts behind your conclusions Planned Parenthood. You made a claim that sounds fishy to me and I'm asking for you to back that claim with some facts. Your belief is suspect. A debate about belief still requires facts to keep it rational. We have people here who believe all sorts of weird stuff and I don't want to lump you into the category of them.

After all, you've given me the best description of how a Trump believer can make it through the week without losing their mind. They suspend all disbelief and pick or choose whatever they want to believe. You've taken it one step farther and called it a fact that isn't true. I can't even make that up.

So, then, a link to background information to show the facts behind your claim that PP is only about abortion and answer my earlier question please:
