Insurance companies can discriminate against disabled people for over a dozen different kinds of policies... with the exception of a homeowners policy (at least in ON). Landlords cannot make accommodations for MMJ grows, for the simple reason that they cannot get insurance to cover the building. Filing any type of human rights complaint against the landlord is moot. You have to go after the landlords Insurance Co as the true culprit who is infringing on your human rights.actually they can't they have to make accommodation for people with disabilities according to human rights commission that's why my issues going to special chambers to be heard in Jan but I can't wait till Jan to grow my meds so I moved but by heath Canada's slowness I may be waiting till then anyways

It probably will expire before I get the fucking thing lol.
Glad I'm not dying.
Any day now I'm sure.I just called, mine was received February 14 and is still in process.....
Why not record that conversation and ask why you need to wait 18weeks when the script is only good for 52weeks.Mine was received Feb 20th, still in process as of this morning.
What's that....18 weeks so far?....
Record all your calls! Why not record that conversation and ask why you need to wait 18weeks when the script is only good for 52weeks.
That phone call would be all you need in the near impossible scenario u get pinched before the papers finally come.
18 weeks Jesus that's almost three crops for me.
But in court wouldn't that prove that you were informed about the rules and proceeded to break them anyway? Why not record that conversation and ask why you need to wait 18weeks when the script is only good for 52weeks.

I would rather pay for quality street grass and put it in my LP (lousy producer) container, than to pay lawyer fees and fines if I got busted without the registration form. I think if I started growing now my papers would come in time before a court case, but I would still be wasting time and money on defending myself over a harmless act. Despite everyone's advice on this thread I still feel that I should wait until the paperwork comes in, I have legal and illegal access to cannabis and I don't have a life threatening condition. But in court wouldn't that prove that you were informed about the rules and proceeded to break them anyway?
No judge in their right mind would agree that waiting 1/3 of the prescription duration is considered reasonable access. But in court wouldn't that prove that you were informed about the rules and proceeded to break them anyway?
I love the old broken record how it sounds, so sweet and true still today after what...??? three going on four years now? harNo judge in their right mind would agree that waiting 1/3 of the prescription duration is considered reasonable access.
If you aren't hawking dime bags out your window with the bob Marley flag how exactly do u get hassled.
They are going 4 plant legal for everyone next July by all means wait til then.
You might have noticed I take long breaks from posting in this section for a reason.I love the old broken record how it sounds, so sweet and true still today after what...??? three going on four years now? har

I didn't realize ACMPR required you to notify the landlord. Unless something has been changed it wasn't required on the original registration. As long as it was your primary residence no signature was required from landlord.Insurance companies can discriminate against disabled people for over a dozen different kinds of policies... with the exception of a homeowners policy (at least in ON). You're right, you don't have to inform the landlord. But, if/when they find out....they have full legal grounds for eviction.I didn't realize ACMPR required you to notify the landlord. Get growing while talking to a lawyer.5 months waiting .......went to post office all documents returned......call HC for reason ..... apparently after so many day they have to retu5and you have to re apply the forms were perfect and doc RX original the only reason it was sent back was HC took too long to process it
Only if they have it specifically written in the lease prior to u moving in.You're right, you don't have to inform the landlord. But, if/when they find out....they have full legal grounds for eviction.
