Establishment Democrats don't represent constituents interests, the same as Republicans. I'm not sure why that's so difficult for you to understand, you can see it in Republican politicians but you're blind to it, or ignore it in Democrats. If they don't represent my interests, like universal healthcare, non interventionism, etc. why should I support them?

Can you answer that question without resorting to personal attacks?

Don't get upset at me for not supporting the politicians you support just because the alternative is worse. Being better than worse is not enough for me. It's not enough for a lot of people. You can attribute it to me being white if you'd like, but we both know that's not true and it's a tactic you employ so you don't have to actually ask yourself why a rational person would feel this way.
You gave me a list before of "establishment Democrats". Every one of them represents their constituents. They don't represent you.

I'm not upset at you for not supporting certain politicians. I do take umbrage at false accusations. As far as "being better" than worse, I'll just say once again, white boy, that you aren't as affected by Republican depredations on civil rights and so can afford to be complacent. There is an ugly stain of racism in your attitude.

They are and have been. The ACA has cut healthcare costs. The law prevents companies from denying access for pre-existing conditions. There are a number of actions in the ACA that caused pain to fat cat insurance companies.
insurance companies literally had to cut checks back to their customers if they exceeded a certain percentage of administrative costs. i'm sure they lobbied the dems for that one big time.

My perspective on the facts being different from yours does not mean my insights are wrong. I'm sorry your mind is closed to new ideas.
Facts. You claim "corrupt Democrat elite". I say you lie. Name the corrupt democrats and name the corrupt act they comitted. Let's make this over the past 10 years. Legal standard for corruption. The reason to apply legal standard is because the implication of corruption is a harsh accusation. So, prove it, entitled white boy who doesn't mind Republican efforts to suppress minority voting.

You're playing the race card, not me.

I've not said a word about voter suppression in this discussion, straw man argument.

I just don't agree that the Democratic Party has been representing my interests or those of anyone, of any color, making less than enough millions to be able to contribute substantial tax deductible SuperPAC money.

Just because the practice is legal doesn't make it any less corrupt or pernicious.

Actions to suppress votes doesn't concern you nearly as much as an imagined entirely corrupt Democratic party. @Padawanbater2 , you correctly called my pointing out that you and Ty's complacency has a racist stain to it. This is because you and Ty have said nothing to address why you are so complacent about Republican actions yet foam at the mouth over false beliefs of "corrupt Democrats". You aren't helping and so are in the way of progress.

Third party -- what's it's name? May I suggest you call it "myawarenessofhealthcarebeganin2016 Party? Or "alliknowiswhatberniesays" Party".

Anybody else want to suggest names for Pad's & Ty's new third party? Maybe the Pad-Ty canoodle party?

You resort to strawmen and personal attacks because you have no valid response to our criticisms

LOL

I've never heard a straw man argument where the straw man is the accusation of straw men. That's pretty much the end of your rope, Paddy.

So, tell me, about the corrupt Democratic elite who never supported universal healthcare coverage and therefore are same or worse than Republicans.

Name those elite
Name the acts of corruption -- legal standard because the accusation of corruption has that connotation
Tell us how "only" 113 democratic cosponsors to a bill and not one Republican cosponsor means Democrats oppose it.
Tell us about the smear campaign Deborah Wasserman Schultz never waged against Bernie.

These are all your arguments. They are all false. They make you out to be a real fucking idiot.

No they aren't.

Health insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies make major donations to the Democratic Party and many individual Democratic politicians.

You're starting to sound as shrill and rabid as a Republican. And just as wrong.

WTF is wrong with you, anyway? Aren't we on the same side? The enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that? All you're doing is alienating a big swath of the progressive base. That's a great way to win elections- for Republicans.

Notice the requirement of a legal definition of corruption to be called corruption when the dipshit knows full well politicians have legalized bribery.

Absolutely pathetic.

That too.

The revolution that fails to oust those in charge- in this case, the donor class- is a revolution that fails.

This explains much of the disappointment of the Obama administration.

Thanks to @Fogdog for this article.

How the top 20% of Americans hoard prosperity for themselves. Systems originally built to exclude racial minorities and Jewish people have simply been adapted to keep out the riff raff of not so well off Americans.

Now those Americans are moving up the ladder of wealth in a bubble increasingly insulated and isolated from the rest of society.

American economic mobility is less than most other developed nations, but in this subgroup it's as good or better, leading to a dangerous mismatch of perception vs the realities the rest of Americans face.

From the article;
Richard Reeves: "I've come to believe that the dangerous separation of the American upper-middle class from the rest of society is a huge problem for politics because there's a sense of a bubble, there's a sense of people who are kind of making out pretty well from current trends and who are increasingly separate – occupationally, residentially, educationally and economically — from the rest of society. They are also disproportionately powerful and the fact that they are not only separate but unaware of the degree to which the system works in their favor strikes me as one of the most dangerous political facts of our time."

Accepting donations isn't a corrupt act. It is actually necessary to stay in office.

Did you know that Democrats lost control of the Senate just weeks after every one of those Democrats were in support of repealing Citizen's United? Every Republican voted for filibustering Bernies proposed amendment to repeal CU. Yet you say Democrats are the problem.

Lost in space, you are.
