Funny how audience minimum wages are well over twice that of the US, but Big Macs still cost the same. Why?

Because labor is a tiny fraction of the cost of producing that burger; there's building rent, utilities, food cost, marketing, compliance, taxes, etc.

Yet if people made twice what they do at minimum wage, there would be more customers and McDonald's would see increased profits!

This is why the right wing's economics are all wrong.
and good old competition..more money in the economy means more businesses meaning more competition.

Ah, so denigrating the job in order to justify exploiting the worker.

You're a real live credit to your fellow man.

No, he's just stupid. He's trying to justify a failed economic theory by ignoring all evidence to the contrary.

Nevermind Wal-Mart;
Wages low enough that workers qualify for Medicaid and food stamps amounts to a subsidy for underpaying them.

Such a lovely way to treat your employees, isn't it?
and unlike Macdonalds most of their product comes from overseas...

labor is the largest expense in any business, ask anyone in business. im in one of the most expensive cities in the world to live and do business (LA), and lease expense is still 30-40% less than monthly labor expense.

you have no clue what you are talking about

Nope. No clue at all; BS in business administration and entrepreneurship, experience in finance, sales, accounting, services and industrial firms.

Every business model has a different mix of labor vs other costs. Ever wonder why services are so expensive in America? I bet not, because you aren't smart enough to think for yourself, let alone get curious about such things.

Nope, I'm clueless. Ya got me.

lol..we already been there.

Min wage in Australia is approx $20 an hr.

Big mac in Australia is 20% smaller than America but is also 20% cheaper..so the price is the SAME but the avg wage is DOUBLE...meaning they can sell MORE big Macs cause more people can afford them..
wrong. their min wage is $17.70 AUD, which is 13.38 USD. the shrinking of the patties would make sense to keep costs down...
for the record as of 12/2016 big mac in australia is 3.94 for the aforementioned smaller serving size

What does this have to do with anything?

Domestic manufacture if all that stuff would create American jobs by the millions.

Tell us why that isn't worth paying an extra 15% for.

True. Americans do need the extra big grease ball so as to remain the world's fattest society.

3.94 but you forgot to convert to American dollars.
he also forgot that I used the word "about"
and didnt mention the extra income the workers get from penalty rates...which could mean they get 3 times the hrly rate.
