For whatever reason, that I can't figure out, outside lighting, the stars, the moon, don't really affect outdoor plants. But God forbid an indoor plant sees an incandescent bulb for five minutes in flower.... It's gotta have something to do with spectrum.

I was thinking the same thing lol. I wonder why this is? I don't have experience growing indoors so I don't know much about it.

Since the bright flashes of fireworks with encourage momentary flashes of accelerated growth, the thunder will scare the plants, flash stunting them by the same amount. You're good to go.
