I am working on my second grow box, a converted dresser. I wanna know what people prefer as far as interior coatings?? I am trying to do this as cheap as possible. Should I go with flat white paint or mylar?? I know it will take about three coats with paint to get it right. I am also making this a secret grow box so would mylar help keep light out better?? Thanks!!

You are looking for diffusion... Mylar is crap. Youd be better off with White paint. I use Orca which is over priced, but I have seen improvements in yield

Use Killz, it primes, covers, and seals all at once. Plus you don't have to make a bunch of staple holes in your walls or worry about tearing it.

Back in the day. I'd paint the walls white....and hot glue CDs to the walls. At the time you could grab a stack of free AOL disks from Wal-Mart.
Theory being that compact disks are designed to reflect laser light. They should be bad@$$ in a grow room, right? I glued probably a hundred CDs to the walls. Everywhere.
Before the end of the grow, the cops tore it down. Called it a disco..... Whatadick

No joke. Fu¢king Sheriff's Deputy. I'm in handcuffs and he calls my grow a disco. Dude didn't understand the theory. Too busy being a major dick.
Arrested the $hit out of me but left the grow equipment. Everything. Light, cab,....pots. Like dick bags they take my plants. They weren't even showing sex. No matter. They said I could smoke it anyway.....
I'm gonna glue a CD up. Why? For the Damn purpose of it all. Can you dig it?
