The 90 Cri Produced Exactly 179.7 grams And The 80 Cri Produced 213.2 For A Difference Of 33.9 Grams.

Keeping in mind that the 90 CRI plant took what, 3 weeks less to finish, at only 33.9g less on final weight.

First Let Me Say That I Will Have To Rerun This Test. The Reason Is With Defoliation Of The 90 Cri Plant. You See I Defoliated The 90 Cri At 42 Days Into Flowering And that Biotch Shut Down Which Is Why I Didn't Defoliate The 80 Cri.

Also maybe a more constant light schedule. I mean, directly to 12/12 after veg period without altering anything.
Eliminating all unnecessary variables will make the results better comparable.

But still, the results are impressive, even if the run wasn't perfect. Thanks a lot @The Dawg.

Yes You Could Add 660's And While Your At It Add Some 630's Also. This Is What I See In The 90 Cri Is The Added Benefit Of The Spectrum Between 630 and 660

The 90 Cri Should Have Taken 7-10 More Days To Finish. What Impress Me Was The She Still Gave Me 179.7 Grams

Thanks for the test Dawg. It is hard to get past the pics earlier in the grow where the 90 cri setup was leaving the 80 in the dust. The combo of shortened time with increased stretch seems like the obvious winner. Even with the added weight with the 80 you are only talking like 1.5 gram per day. I would rather have that time used for flowering the next run. If you consider the defoliation stunting growth it looks even better for the 90 cri.

I wonder what the trigger point is with the added reds and far reds. I am running 4 cxb 3500k 80 cri and 1 cxb 3000k 90 cri in an x with the 90 being in the middle. I wonder if it is enough to get the shorter times and stretch. I am 4 days into my 1st run with the light so I will find out I guess.

I also picked up some of the led bulbs at costco this last week. They have a 25 dollar utility rebate at the counter on 100 and 65 watt equivalent 2700k 90 cri and 5000k packs. You end up paying a buck a bulb for them. 35.00 minus 25.00 at the register on a 10 pack. I plan on using the 5000k ones for a seedling tray but am wondering if I should throw the 2700 90 cri ones in my tent as side lighting for reds. They are pretty bright with the plastic cover popped off.

Id also like to see a straight cut to 12/12 or whatever your final flowering time is. Reducing it slowly is another variable that could throw things off...

I would in your place took 10*660 + 3*730. Either less or more, depending on the driver current.

Connect in series, the same as COBs.
1A is the maximum permissible current for red diodes(cree xp-e)
If you can make a good cooling, then feed to 1A, if you can not, then it is better to make two lines in parallel in 0.5A (20 * 660 + 6 * 730).
If you notice that the interstices will be lengthened, then it's worth to remove 730 from the setup. But 6W far red is not so much for your setup.
You can make two circuits. Cobs + 660 + 730 and 730 separately. And, using the relay, switch the circuit 730 at the end of the day for 10 minutes.

Forgot to specify, the diodes take 2.3-2.5V at 1A and 2.1-2.3V at 0.5A each.
Yes, and the efficiency will be higher at 0.5A ...

I'm starting a cultivation with cobs, before using a dual agro 400w. And I mounted two cob panels with 5 cobs CLU048 -1212 3500k 90 each, using driver 240B-1.4 amper .... which gives me approximately 473W, taking 6% of driver loss.

My grow has 1.20 length X 0.60 depth X 2.10 height, a friend warned me that I am using too much cobs for my space and that I may have overligth problem.

What do you think? Leaving both panels at maximum, is beating between 45,000 Lux and 60,000 Lux at 60 cm 23.6220 "23 5/8.

I Would Use 1 Panel At Half Power For Early Veg Then Full Power Late Veg And At The Start Of The 4th Week Of Flower Add The Second Lamp And Run Each At 200 Watts
