actually, they said it was the decision of rod rosenstein, the deputy AG, who made the decision. and he said it was because they were too mean to clinton, despite trump effusively praising comey for that exact same thing.

eventually, they dropped the pretense and just admitted they all lied and trump said it was because of the investigation into him (which is totally not happening).

how you can sit there and defend any of this is a case study in stockholm syndrome and cult worship.
