I have zero confidence in the current administration's ability to handle these conflicts with competency or restraint.

There have been a lot of threats over the years and the peninsula has been the subject of a lot of allied nations wargaming and what if scenarios.

I'm pretty sure we have some tricks up our sleeve the North Koreans have no idea about or defenses for.

That said, the battle plan is always the first casually of warfare and nothing is a perfect solution.

If the North starts shelling Seoul, all hell will break loose. FAST.

it's the "anniversary of the sun", the birth of kim il sun (sp?), the grandfather who they regard as god, or "the sun".

they've done failed bomb tests and revealed infrastructure projects on this anniversary before. so it could be a whole lot of nothing.

or they might just blow up an H-bomb in the sea of japan for funsies.

there are no special tricks for dealing wit north korea that the black president just forgot to use for 8 years. we now have the fattest, dumbest, oldest, most ignorant, lazy, incompetent, corrupt, and uninformed manager of all time dealing with it.

I'm sure china has been promised future trade here in exchange for staying out of a conflict with n/k once that is established the pecking order will resume but this could go on for awhile ....end result higher taxes more defense funds = more being skimmed off the top

Striking on Syria is a fun weekend but Saudi Arabia won't even make the ban list.
And don't forget the drug war here...crank that up. New drug czar coming in that has said "non-violent
drug offenders should be put in some hospital-slash-prison". Profiteering from wars that don't solve
any existing problems while causing countless new deaths & destruction and repeating the madness
over and over. It ain't personal, it's just bizness. All these politicians are criminals!

Get involved in politics. If the party of your choice won't listen to your concerns, find one that will and do some work for them.

I'm getting involved with my local politics and I'm getting on the local public access radio station.

It's no longer enough to complain to your like minded friends; it's time to DO SOMETHING.
