OK guys, anybody that remembers me, I just decided to get ack into things.
I got a 2x2 tent, 450w LED, and am gonna try coco this time.
Any tips would be appreciated, as instructions on the bag of coco suggest starting nutes right away and using every water.
That just goes against EVERYTHING I have learned in the past grows.
Your avatar does look familiar....... maybe because it reminds me of chaz?
Either way welcome back grower
No mention of nutes being used...... personally i wouldn't feed every time with salts, But have very little straight coco experience.

Ha, I am by no means an expert...but will lend some advice based on my experiences with growing in Coco
I'd be interested in knowing what brand Coco you are using, and what nutrients as well...
And are you growing from seeds or clones?
--I find starting from seeds in Coco can sometimes be a challenge, and I prefer to start them in a bit of soil or in something like rockwool or rapid rooters
Feed every watering. But don't keep your Coco soaking wet. Let it dry up some before feeding again. Not bone dry though. Water slowly, especially if using fabric pots. Recommended to water more frequently with higher nutrient doses than flooding, but not a must. You can get away with just drenching them once a day (or as needed) until they dry up a bit.
PH in the hydro range. Testing run off is a different process. I don't bother with it but if you are interested you can find info on how that should be done online.
May need to supplement Cal/mag
Hope this helps. It took a couple runs of pure Coco to find a routine that worked for me. But once you get it dialed in, I think you'll find growing in Coco is pretty easy and forgiving. My best advice, even if you use a different brand of Coco, is to read up on the info papers and research by Canna. Best of luck grower
