Can I clone it?

Hey Rollers.

Like the title says. I want to know if I've got viable branches to clone from.

Both plants are the first week or so into flower. Confirmed female. Both outdoor grown too.

This is the first plant. I want to take the middle branch. It was a topped section. But it started to grow back again.

This one is the funky bugger some of you might have seen me going on about in other posts. It's got really lanky branches. And has quite a few three frond leaves. Rather than the normal 5, 7, 9 combination.
Not sure what to do with this one. It's got two decent sized lower branches I could use. But, yeah... it's stretchy and has stuff all foliage on it.

Thoughts? Anything viable to use?

I've got Rootex cloning gel and JiffEasy jiffy pellets to use. And can whip up a clone chamber pretty easily. Also got a spare lamp and 20w 5000k bulb.

Went ahead and chopped a few stems. Guess there's no better way to find out than giving it a shot.

The top left is from the regrown "top". And the other two are from the lanky one.

Something to keep an eye on, avoiding water droplets repeaded accumulation on the clone apexes for long periods of time. I've seen that promote senescence on more than one occasion.

Do you have a pinhole in that lid for circulation?

Keep the root zone warm and moist and make sure the dome/container they are in stays humid. That's how I do mine and I have at least 90% success rate

i could be wrong.....look on/under the leaves for white/beige tiny stick like insects

the clones came from outdoor plants?

Outdoor but potted. And I haven't seen anything like that. Are they a nuisance?

I've got some weird white lines on some of the leaves on my indoor plant. Didn't see anything there.

Yes there is some nutrient burn on these. I went a little nuts with the feed a week back. There's the weird white spots in talking about. There's only 3 leaves with it on them.

Here's a shot of my clones. Still alive. Even though I managed to knock them over today. I re-trimmed them a bit. And had to put two of them back in the peat blocks. Gave the stems another soak in rooting mix before doing so.

clones can be taken at will, anytime, any day, any size. But when a grower cuts the leaves off of them doves cry. its malicious, and is not necessary. I'ma pro cloner for years and dont practice marijuana mutilations, dont suffer clone deaths, they root in days, grow fast and tall and are the very best.........without cutting leaves=damage, molds, infections, pathogens, less photosysnthesis, or maybe you seek these issues?

Buy a clone king if you are new to clones (at least for your next batch), very easy and fantastic success rate. I agree with the comment you might have thrips.

Also, it's not always a question of, can I clone it? But Do I want to clone it. The enemy of genetics is stress. Stress occurs anytime something abnormal happens in the plants life . When these plants went into flower and then you took them back out to clone them, a little bit of stress probably occurred. But if you don't intend on cloning these for years to come or breed them, you're prob all set!

The lanky one isn't one I particularly wanted to clone. But, I wanted to see how each of my plants went being cloned. I'm still in the early learning stages of growing. And are experimenting with certain things that take my interest.

I've just added two cuttings from my indoor plant because I like how that's grown thus far. And of them all. It's probably the best candidate to be cloned.
