It was only threatened to be shutdown. They cancelled day two because of a high wind advisory.
As i was informed it was a concert only. Vendors were told not to bring any cannabis products. Is that not correct?
So does your constitutional lawyer wife believe a concervative court would legalize. I cant see them let that happen.

Just a FAIR tax structure would fix the that. Flat tax and/or national sales tax. So if you can't/don't buy much you won't be taxed. Or that fucking yacht you've always wanted, 10%-20% tax. I'd love to pay my share if the top 1-2% pays theirs.

I agree. Although the way its set up is the top 1-2% usually dont pay as much because they are job creators and the government wants to create incentives for large corporations so we as a country create more jobs. Not saying I think thats right & fair, but that's how it's set up.

flat tax just a tax on the poor. if your rich & make 100k a month & you spend 10k a month, you only get taxed for the 10% you spent & no tax on the rest. The poor person makes 1k a month & spends it all just to live pays 100% tax.....flat tax rapes the poor lets the rich make tax free bank.

You are talking about trickle-down economics, which is pure bullshit. It has been proven again and again, but some people still don't get it. Look at what happened in Kansas when they cut taxes to stimulate the economy. Not only did the money *not* trickle down to the average citizen, the state budget ended up a billion dollars in the red.

Let's cap deductions while we're at it;
A mortgage interest deduction is a great idea, but once you're buying over a million dollars worth of private residence I don't think the taxpayers should be subsidizing it.
