Please please please watch this....

http://www.cp24.com/video?clipId=1075911

This could you or me or your family member.....only nobody will care and film you or I. So they will get away with this on lots of less famous people. The Emery's make the case better than I ever could. You will get it after watching this clip. Help us !...call your local politician...do something you know is right and will feel proud of.
How about this?
Please add you support briefly below in this thread...let this thread shout out everyone's disgust...please add your 2 cents here. It will show other people that we are NOT taking this anymore. It will encourage others to do one small thing call...write...email...something to let them know that arresting decent Canadian's is NOT ok anymore.
Thank you for listening and considering this...peace and legal safety to all and your families.

So true hippy unfortunately so true.
These people should see no jail time for paving a road to legalization as they see it.
and good for them.....and the few others who have stood up and followed thru
even at the cost of their freedom.
this is not 2015 ,,its 2017 that's right 2017 so treat it as urgent and pass the legalization bill.
Its time people stopped being punished for such a benign substance in terms of substances.
How many people everyday have been kept from doing something foolish by having a puff and calming down before proceeding.
of course there are the opposite types as well...but that's the same for all substances.
However this one is special...in a lot of ways...as you all know by now or you would not be here....and some of you literally.
Your right about the importance hippy...its def time the stigma starts to go away and bury its self in the truth.
Keep up the fight everyone.

They knew exactly what they were doing, opening illegal storefront weed shops without any kind of permit. And no they weren't just helping sick folk get medicine. Sick folk don't need a hit right this second, they can wait until it comes in the mail or worst case buy it from Rilo on the corner.

The Emery's just can't stop themselves from flouting the law. Apparently they just don't know what to do with themselves if they ain't defying the law and making quick cash. I don't mean defying the law by using or selling weed but by openly doing it right on the streets of major cities. It's known as flouting. Marc obviously learned nothing from 5 years in a US pen so I guess he needs a few more in Canada. I'm sure they'll oblige, especially after Marc insulting Trudeau regularly. Guy really knows how to make friends in high places. They just toss him to the dogs as soon as they get the chance.

Which positive social change has ever been achieved by being passive? From ending slavery to women being allowed to vote to someone's child allowed to be gay, activism was the catalyst to the change. Some of us have been fighting this for 40 or 50 years, not many of us as high profile as the Emery's. The current marijuana laws are unconstitutional given that they must be 'justified in a free and democratic society'. Given that Trudeau has announced plans for legalization and the majority of Canadians are opposed to enforcement of obsolete laws. they no longer have the justification to prosecute. This is nothing more than a witch hunt to destroy a threat to the LP monopoly. Once the taxpaying public becomes aware of the level of corruption and insider lobbying, it's all going to blow up in their faces.

who have you seen politely get laws changed? if you don't stand and fight the bad laws, how do you change them? unless you make a stink about it, no one can get on your side.

That list is solid outside of "
Tom Shipley, Director of Quality Assurance, Tweed

  • formerly worked on toxicology research, while at Health Canada,"

This guy was a lab rat at HC, which is about as politically connected as working at a timmies in Ottawa (possibly less so).

He must have been a big enough rat that he got someone's attention. There are a surprising number of former (current) HC employees tangled with the LP's...considering they live or die on government approval, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to consider the jobs as a reward. imo

I don't buy it, there's no denying that Marc has been a big voice against prohibition, But he's not doing it for the greater good anymore, he's doing it for fame and fourtune. I know Marc and have had dealings with him, he's a wolf in sheeps clothing. He and Jodie where caught with $250k, and 300lbs of cannabis products, they aren't activists anymore they are business people.

And which people from the list above have lifted a finger to promote legalization? Nobody else has pushed this so far....I think he is a pompous ass and totally agree he's a wolf in sheeps clothing....he hasn't changed his position though.

Imo, there are far more deserving activist that don't whore themselves out to the media. The true activists don't need fame or fortune. The Emories are small fish when it comes to true activist who stood by patients when they needed help. Remember the Emories never fought for med use, they always positioned themselves towards rec.
